Re: Spider of the Morlat

I would prefer rather: "Spider attacks from Spider of the Môrlat played as a permanent-event award no Kill marshalling points and do not remove Spider of the Morlat from play if defeated." Phrase "discarded from play" is used in texts of cards Alliance of Free Peoples, Pallando the Soul-Keeper and ...

Re: Fallen-wizards using characters with > 5 mind.

I would prefer: "Fallen-wizards may not play under his control characters with more than five mind, but if they have one in play the character is not discarded." Fallen-wizard player should not be restricted from playing a character with any mind according to Ride Against the Enemy. This doesn't so...

Re: (Easy way of) killing of Spider of the Môrlat (?)

I got a question for you tho: Do you guys consider how your rulings affect Dreamcards? The reason I am asking is because some "templates" used from the Standard Releases, are used in Dreamcards. So, I think Konrad is DEAD on TARGET. There are other cards that are like SotM (in DC). Konrad's propsed...

Spider of the Morlat

I propose the following clarification be issued for Spider of the Morlat: Spider attacks from Spider of the Môrlat played as a permanent-event award no Kill marshalling points and do not discard Spider of the Morlat from play if defeated. Thanks to Moriquendi for the language suggestion. Reference t...

Re: (Easy way of) killing of Spider of the Môrlat (?)

There is other (than common sense) factor. AFIK Spider of the Môrlat is the only card that is both a creature and an event that creates attacks. So instead of making an errata specific to the Spider of the Môrlat, it (maybe) would be better to make a general regulation, like: "A card that is both a...

Fallen-wizards using characters with > 5 mind.

Fallen-wizards are prohibited by rule to play characters with greater than a 5 mind. Fallen-wizards may not play characters with more than five mind, but if they have one in play the character is not discarded. Fallen-wizards can have a character with more than five mind, they just can't start with ...

First possibility:

Strike #1: Elrond at 7/9 faces one strike of 8 prowess
Strike #2: Elrond at 6/8 faces one strike of 8 prowess
Strike #3: Elrond at 5/7 faces one strike of 8 prowess
Strike #4: Elrond at 4/6 faces one strike of 8 prowess
This is correct.

Re: Gift of Comprehension

I have often thought to myself that this card is essentially unplayable and worthless. While I agree that your proposal is quite reasonable and might make the card worth considering in some decks, it also opens up a can of worms, so to speak. The worms are every card in the game that is noticeably u...

Re: Bring Our Curses Home + Ahunts

Aside - the CoE really should try to get a comprehensive, updated CRF which incorporates all of the old NetRep rulings and the official CoE errata posted to the main page under 'Rules'. All that's there now are the rulebooks, not even the old CRF. The new URD which is being worked on behind the sce...

Univeral Rules Document

The current URD is not an official rules document, but it is a handy reference. There are some mistakes in it. It also has not been updated in quite some time. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, I am currently working on a new URD to be released which will be reviewed by the ROC and will be an “official r...

Re: Bring Our Curses Home + Ahunts

I agree with factual part but Netrep Digests are not parts of rules. Issuing and correcting them is responsibility of Netrep Team. Netrep Team is responsible to be compliant with rules, but rules (errata) creators do not need to care to be in sync Netrep Digests. First, there is no longer a NetRep ...

Re: Submission Rules - Please Read

The submissions will be locked soon.(March or April). Does that mean that the wording/language of the proposal will no longer be able to be updated? So, between then and June we can only debate the merits of that locked wording? Also, if one proposal is submitted, can an alternative be submitted as...
