Re: Angus McBride Originals & Prints
I don't have a fb account. How much is he asking as does he have an email address or something shown? I'd probably try to buy one but it's not worth getting a fb account for...

Re: Draft of CoE Digest #204 - Q6 The Balance of Things - Open until March 18th
I think this is not an errata but just putting the rulings and clarifications on the card. I don't think that's a good idea. The new text reads like it should be in the CRF under The Balance Of Things entry instead. It's not really changing anything. Unless you are printing us new cards, totally rew...

I guess we can agree to disagree. I don't see any ambiguity, sorry.

Re: Post/common effect - convention
In short: a card with two uses that is only removed from game in result of alternative use is not possible? What should be a text of such card and how it would be formatted? As I've said before, it would be formatted exactly like Deeper shadow. There is one paragraph for the first effect and second...

Re: Post/common effect - convention
Ech... then 3rd sentence is not treated in the same way as 1st and 2nd. It _is_ treated the same. First sentence applies to playing the card. 2nd sentence applies to playing the card. 3rd sentence applies to playing the card. Exactly the same. The fact that the 2nd one say "Alternatively"...

Re: Post/common effect - convention
@ Konrad: The point is simply that the use of paragraphs is arbitrary. There is no reason to assume deliberate function in one instance of paragraphing when most if not all others show no sign of such. Hhm... that is not what I was saying. I think the use of paragraphs (and by that I mean newline +...

Re: Post/common effect - convention
So not really that much of a mess really. And pretty consistent :) Not much. Only Deeper Shadow and Echoes of the Song. Or even not they, if it is intended that the last sentence of their texts applies only to alternative effect. :) I agree and said why I think Deeper applies only to the alternativ...

Re: Post/common effect - convention
Okay, so deeper shadow was a poor choice of example on my part. I went with the text you posted, which is not an accurate reflection of what's actually on the card. In that case the separate paragraph does matter I'd think. The corruption check is only for the alternate effect. White light it's a se...

Re: Post/common effect - convention
In English the period is enough. I'd expect (but have not gone searching) a ";" or an "and" to connect that "post/common effect" to the alternate effect if it was only part of the alternate effect. Line break does not matter. But as we know some of the text on early CCG...

Re: Draft of CoE Digest #201 Q5 - In the Heart of his Realm - Open until September 24th
I agree with Konrad on this. I have a hard time reading the sage skill removal effect and the ritual preventing effect as behaving differently. I think they are both continuous effects.
