"additional copies cannot be played" if either a copy in play is unique, or a copy to be played is unique. Both may be obstacle.
This is what I was saying before.

In other words, so long as one of the copies in question has an active "Unique" keyword, both can't be in play at once.

Re: Waiting Shadow

The "any one character" is probably used to highlight the contrast against the non-DoN restriction of Orc, Troll, or Man character.

I like how they use a banana for size comparison in the product photo.

Re: Adûnaphel

When tapped, Adûnaphel becomes a short-event and causes any one character to tap. At issue is the following conundrum: there are two possible interpretations for this portion of Adûnaphel's text. 1. Adûnaphel overrides the rule that restricts targeting to characters in the company which is taking i...

Re: Legend for DC Symbols/Icons?

You can see most of the symbols in the smilies pane on the right side of the forum composition window, as well. If you hover over, e.g. [-me_cc-] , a pop-up will tell you it's Corruption Check.

MECCG for SWCCG

Are there any Star Wars CCG players/collectors out there who would be looking to make cross-trades between the two games? Now that I've completed my MECCG collection, I'm getting into SWCCG and looking to trade some of my extra MECCG for that game. PM me if you're interested!

Re: Storage Solutions

Cool stuff, and it's always fun to ogle nice collections! (Looking at your display shelves, Moriquendi [-me_cc-]). Great ideas here, though for myself I still need to come up with a better solution that works for a small house with cats, young children, and a spouse who does not prioritize game spac...

Re: Guarding the Shire.

Cool idea! Two possible extensions for the scenario: One, it might be interesting to allow the defenders to "earn" a reward (e.g. a minor, major, greater) item for defeating a wave. The items could get better as the waves get more challenging, too. Second, if you want another or an alternate wave, y...

Re: MECCG at ConQuest Avalon Nov. 22 to 24

What trades are you looking for? Let me know if it's anything from Dragons, as I don't have a lot of those in my trade binder currently (but have a lot available -- just need to dig it out of storage).

Re: Convention of tagging the joint actions

I think they were "careless" in the sense that they didn't care to get bogged down in the rabbit-hole of rules minutiae and trusted their player base to figure out a common-sense, or conventional, way to have fun while playing the game. I don't believed they cared for rules-lawyering, and tried to c...

Re: MECCG at ConQuest Avalon Nov. 22 to 24

I'll be there all day on Saturday. I'll bring my sites binder (for extras), my trades binder (just in case), some extra dice, and some maps. I can also bring Lord of the Rings LCG materials (enough for 4 players) and/or Journeys in Middle Earth if anyone is interested in trying those out. Also, if s...

I'd say at least $600 USD. AtS is extremely rare, and seems to be in very high demand right now.

Re: Complete Play set including English and German Promos

A full play set of Lidless Eye, AtS, and Balrog is quite valuable, I would say. At a very rough guess, I'd estimate a normal set of Lidless Eye is going for maybe $350-450 USD (possibly more, as prices have been spiking recently), AtS might value over $1,000 (?), and Balrog sets seem to be fetching ...
