Re: MECCG in Vegas!
Pizza Expo starts that Monday. Though I imagine there won't be a ton of gamer overflow from the flood of Italians hitting Vegas that weekend getting in your way. :) I will be heading in from Va to work the show. If you guys don't mind a spectator maybe I'll stop by. A few of us are planning to get i...

Re: Large Tolkien Exhibition Opening in NYC
Heading up there to help my daughter move in a few weeks. I will need to set some time aside to go to the exhibit. Between that and Best Bagel on 35th it will be a perfect weekend. Seeing my kid will be nice too.

Re: Finally Built All 22 Challenge Decks!
I picked the case up tonight. Thanks again for posting it. Testing it I’ve found that you can pull the bottom row of boxes out and comfortably fit two game mat tubes. 7 decks and two mats makes for a very nice mobile game day. Now I just need to find someone willing to play. :) <sorry for the double...

Re: Web Meccg map
This is a slick site, very nice work. It is a shame that it looks like it will be shutting down in a couple weeks.

Re: Balrog COMPLETE list
I've always used the spreadsheet found on the old meccg.net site (it is likely available elsewhere too.) I used it to track my collection. http://www.meccg.net/netherlands/meccg/index.html?downloads.html It seemed like it was too buttoned up to not be a complete and accurate list; but I haven't fact...

Re: Beware of phone scams...
I've done similar stuff when I am in the mood. But honestly the worst thing we can do is acknowledge the caller in anyway because it confirms the number dialed is live. Most calls today are auto-generated by algorithms fishing for a live number. When one is confirmed as reaching a person, that becom...

Re: Sharing my fancy map
Looks great. I did something lighter on the info (sticking to just the Regions and lightened borders) a few years back in order to make myself a play mat. The 3 images on the left are where I place my deck, discards, and marshaling point cards. https://boardgamegeek.com/image/2603384/corummc?size=la...

Stormcrow for me. No deep justifications, it just always felt right when I'd see that image.

Re: CardGameGeek - MECCG DB/Deckbuilding
Deck question. Is there a way to export a deck beyond to GCCG? I'd like to be able to save a deck as a csv or pdf so that I have a local copy of my deck. The ability to print out a deck list makes building the actual deck easier, lets me hand off a list to my opponent, etc. If the export to csv work...

Re: CardGameGeek - MECCG DB/Deckbuilding
The MECCG page is great, really nice work. Is there a way to set a default state of filters to your account when logged in? I don't play virtual or with the dream cards so would only be interested in reading the traditional sets and would need to single them out each time I wanted to scroll through ...

Re: Most sought after cards
This will be worth watching.
I have a fair collection mostly from love of the cards. I'm not a seasoned player and net deck or use slightly tweaked challenge decks mostly when I do get to play. It would be nice to have this list handy as a bank of utility cards to keep in mind when deck-building.

Re: Web Meccg map
Really nice job on the map.
Now find a way to use a session variable and a flag to 'exhaust' the visited sites for that game session. . Kidding; that would be cool but it would involve a good bit of coding.
Thanks for posting.
