Re: roadblock cards

OK, just saw this..... Clarification: Two wilderness symbols are required in a site path to play a deep wilderness creature. However, the two symbols need not be adjacent in the site path . For example, a deep wilderness creature may be played keyed to the site path: . If a company travels with two ...

sorcery & magic

I was kicking this around..... actually for dang near 20 years now... I have never been able to successfully create a minion or agent deck that effectively uses sorcery/spells or magic..... I absolutely LOVE this aspect of the game, but I have never been able to make a good one.... I prefer, if poss...

Re: collection value

OK, pictures are coming along. I admit, after speaking to so may of you great folks, I have decided to continue playing, but trim down my extra, unneeded rares, etc.... I do have some books/guides too. Damn it, I even ordered another box of boosters and some packs from Wim... so glad he is still in ...

Re: roadblock cards

Wow, lots of catching up.... Ok, I guess I am looking at what I feel is the intent of the game after working so closely with so many others over the years as a US tourney rep... I absolutely admit, that does NOT make me right.... It just always made sense when you look at the verbiage and intent of ...

Re: roadblock cards

Well said Konrad..... In the end, it is a game, have fun.... don't try to break or bend the rules to your specific play style or will.... leave that for Sauron! Questions come up. In the US.. Americans play to win.. by any means.... we are notorious for reading into the rules what we want them to sa...

Re: roadblock cards

Wow, a big read.... I will attempt to chime in, please, returning player.... be kind.... slap me but don't insult me if I saw it wrong. OK... first off.... global hazards wind up being played by either player of course... The cards: snow storm and long winter are redundant, except for losing the sit...

Re: Best Rare Cards for Multiples?

My go to cards were always Assassin and Thief too.

Promo Cards

Ok, just a quick question here..... as I am reacquainting myself with the cards.... it seems to me that there are a lot more non-English promo cards out there than there are English ones... is there a complete list of promo cards available anywhere?

Re: collection value

Thanks for the feedback and all of the messages. Yes, breaking up the books from the cards and then the coins, etc.... "other stuff' might be the way to go. I have to be honest... I saw that the guy in the Netherlands is still selling stuff... sealed boxes and I almost pulled the trigger to buy more...

collection value

Ok, not sure if I posted here yet. I have had a few folks speak to me on another older forum.... I am at a crossroads with playing. I have a huge collection, pretty much all sets complete (un-played) except Balrog... all pretty much mint, un-played, black border, all of the manuals, puzzles, guides,...
