Re: The Road Goes Ever On - Solo Rules

This looks really interesting. I never tried version 1.0 of your system, but I'm enthusiastic to give this one a shot.

I'm not sure when I'll have time to do so—probably not for at least a month due to a big work crunch—but I'll post thoughts here when I can make time to play again!

Re: The Northern Legacy - sign-up documents

Any news on progress shipping out the DC sets? Updated estimates on when all the packages will have been shipped?

Awesome, thank you—I have sent forms for all three sets to Eric. I just discovered this project, and I can hardly believe how awesome it is.

Re: Buying Question/ Trading Advice / WTB

I think a decent way to start out figuring out which of your rares are most valuable would be to go to a site that sells singles, like CardGameGeek, go to the sets you have, and sort by price. CGG is a good option at least for determining relative value, because they still list the price even if the...

Re: Buying Question/ Trading Advice / WTB

I’m one of the many who got into the game after COVID hit—or back into it, having sold off my modest collection twenty years prior—so I can offer a little insight from the perspective of someone who has acquired a collection at these inflated costs. I can attest that prices have increased quite a lo...

There are two “Want Lists” here—is one of them supposed to say “Have List”?

Re: MECCG collection

in the attachment you can find an excel file with all cards in all languages with lot of information like rarity. Its sortable, which might be helpful. There are some mistakes, but not with English cards afaik. That's a great resource—thanks for sharing! I didn't scour it with a fine-tooth comb, bu...

Randomization problems in sealed product?

I started collecting MECCG recently and have become curious about whether there are major flaws in the randomization of cards in sealed product. I’ve now opened one sealed box of UL METW starters, and two sealed boxes of UL METW boosters, all purchased from different sources. I definitely have not b...

Re: Advice on selling a big lot of Rare Cards

I’m afraid that, as a pretty new member of the MECCG community, I don’t have any advice about selling your collection—except to say what you probably already know, which is that you’ll probably net more if you don’t sell it as one big lot (at the cost of more patience and effort, which might not be ...
