Re: Discarding Stage Resources & Their Ripple Effects

To make sure I'm following, is Rebuild the Town not lost for the second case because a site that has merely been altered to be a Border-hold is not affected by Cast From the Order under the second way? If a site card is not type of [-me_bh-] , [-me_fh-] , or hero haven, then it is not lost. It may ...

Re: Ringwraiths questions

The Witch-king has +1 prowess and no modification to DI in Fell Rider mode due to his own card. Unique. Manifestation of The Witch-king of Angmar. Can use spirit-magic and shadow-magic. +3 direct influence in Heralded Lord mode. +1 prowess in Fell Rider mode. As your Ringwraith, up to two Ringwraith...

Re: Deep Mines

I don't see why there isn't a LINK/BOND created with this sentence: (i.e., the SITES are adjacent...) Because (intentionally or not) ICE decided to say that a company may move to this site only from one of your protected Wizardhavens and stated that The protected Wizardhaven is the surface site for...

Re: Discarding Stage Resources & Their Ripple Effects

Cast From the Order says about necessity of using minion sites for given site types. This is not a restriction, this is a warrant. I see a two ways of fulfilling the warrant. - Using a minion site card when a site under control of affected player happen to be of given type. - Using a minion site car...

Re: Multiple copies of the same site-card

Any company may declare as its new site a site already on the table. That site will remain on the table at least until the end of that company's movement/hazard phase. Nowhere is said that the site must be revealed. Unrevealed site card chosen as new site in organization phase is revealed at beginn...

Re: Multiple copies of the same site-card

1. Is the answer above given in Rulings Digest #82 completely accurate? He leaves out the possibility of splitting a company at a haven and using multiple copies of the haven for the separate companies (as quoted above in the Lidless Eye clarification). No. For reasons given by you. 2. With White Ha...

Re: Traitor

Maybe. But for some reason a normal result of cc was originally postponed. And even with CRF there is the reference to "the character attacking". But because the same CRF paragraph says "but may still tap for full prowess" (as though tapping in strike sequence was made "for" and not in result), and ...

Re: Attack as a first declared action in chain of effects

Some correction. Declaring of Smoke on the Wind causes a declaration of: Discarding all factions playable at the site that player has in play Check for presence of untapped character in company Attack of Men 1s/10p Attack of Men 5s/8p I forgot about the last (first declared) action of Smoke on the W...

Re: Attack as a first declared action in chain of effects

The attack of ahunts are, as I understand it, actions created by passive conditions, and each would have to be their own chain of effects precisely because this rule does not allow them to be declared in response to one another. I agree that: The attack of ahunts are actions created by (triggering ...

Re: Passive Conditions

It does not address the issue. Issue is how to deal with actions caused by a passive condition if some passive condition is produced not in chain of effects.

Re: Attack as a first declared action in chain of effects

Issue is just that: Annotation 10: If more than one action is required to be the first action declared in a chain of effects, the player whose turn it is chooses the order in which they are declared. No other actions may be declared in this follow-up chain until the multiple required actions have be...

Traitor

When the next character fails a corruption check, he becomes a 'traitor, and an attack is immediately made against a character in the traitor's company. The character to be attacked is chosen by the player who does not control the traitor's company. The prowess of the attack is equal to the prowess...

Passive Conditions

1. Annotation 9: If a card specifies that an action is to occur as a result of some specific passive condition, this action becomes automatically the first action declared in the chain of effects to immediately follow the chain of effects producing the passive condition . The passive condition must ...
