Re: They are accounted for: black player only?

Card over anything else, the guide is usually full of jibberish :-)

Let me explain, the guides are written over a period of years. Meanwhile the cards might change due to testing etc. We try to weed out out(up)dated info, but some things can slip our attention.

Cool!
One comment on bgg states: "Great game for Boys 10-12y!", but those meeples look rather PG13 to me :-)

Re: FS (order) - Custom Avatar-specific Dice

Dice don't weigh much, typically, no more than 5 grams per die. So 20 sets of 12 dice would weigh about 1 kg. Don't know prices in US, but from Netherlands to US that's 25 euros. Even if it's 40 euros including the box, that's 2,00 per set. I doubt anybody would consider that a problem, so I wouldn'...

DC Spoiler Files

Here's the complete spoiler file of released Dreamcard sets, in xls.

As of 12-5-2019 it contains spreadsheets for ME: The Firstborn (MEFB), ME: Durin's Folk (MEDF), and ME: The Necromancer (MENE).

Any tips, suggestions, corrections, let me know.

Re: FS (order) - Custom Avatar-specific Dice

Looks cool! I'll take a pair of each avatar available. I'll also offer to ship to others in Netherlands, and meet up semi-regularly with people in Belgium/Germany I assume you have the latest Elf/Dwarflord templates (see cardnum)? We can easily devise runes for Dwarflords, if that's the problem, or ...

Re: Bilbo's Magic Ring & Rumor of ring

Celedhring can test gold rings , and since BMR's is a special item and its text does not apply to minions, he cannot test it. However, Uwe does touch upon a problem. BMR's text does not apply to minions, thus the line "you cannot play a resource to win the game..." also does not apply. Minions don't...

Re: 2019 Charter Revision

In general, I am in favour of a) not changing the charter much/often, as that seems weak and/or CoE just uses it to serve their purposes, and b) not being too specific in the charter, for example with respect to dates time-frames etc. that being said, the proposed changes are minor, which is both ok...

Re: Appointing a Chairman 2019-2021 Term

If Gavin is up for it, I would second nominating him as Chairman session 2019-2021. He poured in lots of energy, gave direction, let others contribute, gathered support/ideas, and was very approachable. What more could one wish for? as for committees, I will gladly reprise ROC and DC (Alternate Form...

Re: Middle-earth: The Necromancer

they are non-unique and thus should be 3x in there. I just checked and they are included 3x on the printsheets. So far I have not found any mistakes on the printsheets. So if they're not there, then that's a production error somehow. I can't open all packs and check cards of course, and even if I wa...

Re: CoE 2019-2021 Elections - Nominate Yourself Here!

I don't want to influence the voting in any way, but I do would like to remark that, in my opinion, people who want to be elected should be known to the community by more than just their online Nickname. Yes online presence is almost primary nowadays (in meccg), still it is important, or at least a ...

Re: ME:NE - card clarification

All named resources ;-)
Repeating them on the card is less elegant, takes up more space, and thus affects readability. And though recycling Rivermen was never the purpose, we didn't really saw a problem with it either.

The package was in fact sent out last week.
It seems DHL's tracking system (and notification system) is far from ideal.

Re: CoE 2019-2021 Elections - Nominate Yourself Here!

greetings Tolkien-fans As long-time player of meccg (since 1997) and active community member, I would like to nominate myself for another term as member of the Council of Elrond. In the previous term I was part of the Rules Oversight Committee. We introduced the Annual Rules Vote , and accomplished ...
