Re: MECCG Art

Donato Giancola has recently made several of his works available as prints on his online store. Check out https://www.donatoarts.com/online-store/secure-store/Middle-earth-Collectable-Card-Game-c56698080 Thanks for sharing. For me, he is one of the top 3 best artists of Tolkien's works. Now I notic...

Favourite MECCG illustrations

What's your favourite illustrations in the game? I've made my personal Top 10 list recently, but it's hard to be exclusive. Anyway, would love to read about your favourites, too. My list is in alphabetical order. Wizards Balrog of Moria - Fellowship - Indûr Dawndeath - Orc-warriors - Saruman - Star-...

Re: Guise of the Necromancer

I had overlooked one of the special rules last time, the one saying that you shuffle back 9 cards from your hazard discard pile into the hazard deck when Saruman comes into play. Without doing that, of course the scenario will become ultra-hard. But if you do, it's fine. Played it again a couple of ...

Cheers!
As I more often play the hero variant of the game, any version with Dark Holds for the Dark Havens would be great. Thank you!
In the meantime, here is another file with hero site-types.

Re: [FILE] JRRT Style MECCG Map

That's beautiful, thank you for sharing!
As a minor side comment: Could you replace the "*" icon for Dark Havens by either [-me_dh-] (then it's a hero-version map) oder by [-me_dha-] (then the symbol is closer to the original dark-haven symbol)?

Re: Guise of the Necromancer

Anyone ever tried out this scenario? To me it looks that at least the set-up is seriously flawed. By any means you'll have to move at least twice to Dol Guldur and back to Lorien to fulfill the task. That is at least 16 cards (opponent draws 4 x 4 cards in a move to/from Dol Guldur). So, 15 hazard c...

Re: Signed MECCG collection for sale (558)

Great collection! When did you get the signatures from Angus McBride and Angelo Montanini? They look somewhat different from the ones I have.

Re: Promo cards and misprints

just went over these again - main difference for these challenge deck "Lure of " cards is that : opponent makes the roll to remove these - was that ever discussed as offical errata ? or did I just not care enough to remember it back in the days My interpretation is that "opponent" is referring to t...

Re: Introducing characters / Untapping of Havens

OK, so not necessarily within the same company, but at the same site, anyway. I understand from If your Ringwraith is in play, your Ringwraith (or a character with enough direct influence tocontrol the character to be played) must be at the site at which the character is to be played. "at the site" ...

Introducing characters / Untapping of Havens

I have a (Hero) company at a tapped Haven. Which are the options to untap the Haven site card? I see the following: - If the Wizard is not in play, a new character, forming a second company consisting of himself alone, may be introduced in the organisation phase receiving a new untapped copy of the ...

Card themes illustrated by a single artist

A few themes or groups of cards in the game have been illustrated by a single artist (instead of being spread to multiple illustrators). Here's what I found: - All the (Blue Mountain) dwarves in Bilbo's company have card art by Angelo Montaini - The Nine Nazgul have all been painted by Liz Danforth ...
