What I like most about the new Charta is the focus on how things are in reality. Most important are rules issues, this looks like a good solution for now. If there is the need of improvements, amendments can always be done. I am also quite happy with it, so thanks a lot to Gavin for taking initiative.

For English cards, would you rank the most highly desired Balrog cards (e.g Longbottom Leaf) more highly than the AtS most highly desired R1s (e.g. Farmer maggot)? This is a difficult one for me. Point is, people will always have their own preferred set-up, and we can't print 50 different playmats, but a few versions perhaps yes. Some would argue to not add anything particular is the best, print just artwork. But that seems rather bare to me, and it might as well be a playmat for whichever ...

well, you can easily build some first Ringwraith decks yourself. you can use the Challenge Decks as reference. remove the rares or any cards you dont have (CH decks have 3 copies of many cards). no problem to play with 25/25 cards instead of 30/30. you can also add cards from the sideboard to the de...

i also enjoyed the weekend a lot! Heiner was a great host, thanks for organizing and showing us around a little bit in Cologne. i didnt find the time to prepare properly, so i took one of my old decks, which i tuned on the way to the location (one of the many advantages when you travel per train ;-)...
