Re: King under the Mountain thing...

Hmmm... let's switch Beorn for Strider as the only character in the company that defeats Smaug at Home. Later on the game I switch Strider for Aragorn II. Is there any remain of that company that defeated Smaug?

Re: King under the Mountain thing...

That is something to think about when deckbuilding a KutM deck...

What about a returned wizard after sacrificing? Would be him able to make KutM a dwarf? Or as soon as he leaves active play looses that "witness status"?

Re: King under the Mountain thing...

This "loophole" opens the door to slaying a dragon at Home and Chance Meetin' a King Under the Mountain later in the game. There is no need for him to be present at the moment of the dragon slaying... which goes along with the book, as first Thorin and Dain after him were proclaimed King Under the M...

King under the Mountain thing...

http://www.chrisvos.com/meuk/lackey/meccg/sets/setimages/Dragons/KingundertheMountain.jpg Well, so imagine i kill Smaug at Home in The Lonely Mountain with a company composed by Beorn, Thrain II, Glóin and Radagast (wich uses a Sacrifice of Form to slay the worm). Well, Thrain is crowned King under...

Re: Meaning of moving during organizations phase

Not being a native english speaker I could be wrong, but the use of gerund here ( moving ) could mean future tense, and not present continuous tense. Example: I'm moving my arm -> Right now i'm performing the action of displacing my arm from one place to other. I'm moving tomorrow -> I'll change my ...

Re: Under-deeps site or thereof

I'm getting accoustomed to Konrad's answers, which stick to the bottoom of the rule and not to my Surface questions. From Konrad's posts, I understand: - I cannot play Tempest of Fire on the Blue Mountains Dwarf-Hold after Lord and Usurper (because it is indeed a surface site thereof) - I can be pla...

Under-deeps site or thereof

Question here: I found somewhere months ago (cannot remember where) that Dwarf Holds are not considered to be adjacent to under deeps sites, so you cannot play Nameless Things there with Doors of Night in play (the same thing for portected wizardhavens and the Deep Mines thing). - Is that correct? N...

Aiglos

Probably a Native English speaker would not have this kind of problems, but, does Aiglos text mean that, for achieving the Direct Influence bonus, he must be Warrior? Unique. Playable at any Under-deep Dark-hold or Shadow-hold. Weapon. Warrior only: +2 prowess (+5 if Doors of Night is in play) (to a...

Re: Several questions related to hoards and at home dragons

Well, digging a bit I found in Rules Digest 110 and other this phrase in more or less the same wording: Therefore, a "flipped over"At Home Dragon under Legendary Hoard does not apply any of its effects. This means, more or less, that the At Home dragon is set aside. It does not give extra AA to his ...

Re: Several questions related to hoards and at home dragons

Just to add some info to the question: From MWTD rules: Any one site with a Dragon automatic-attack is a Dragon's lair. There are nine unique Dragons associated with the following lairs: Agburanar Caves of Ulund Bairanax Ovir Hollow Daelomin Dancing Spire Earcaraxe Isle of the Ulond Itangast Gold Hi...
