Re: Middle Earth The White Hand Box Break

Watched your box break before I opened my first MEWH box. Got ALMOST complete set. Missing 3 rares. I have started opening my 2nd box. We shall see if I can complete my set with this box. :) Edit: 2 boxes opened. Missing ONE card. Sigh... What are you missing? I just busted a box and have a few ext...

GenCon August 2017

Any players planning on attending this year's GenCon?

August 17-20, 2017
Indianapolis, Indiana

I plan on making the trip from Florida to participate in various other events and will be very happy to bring some Middle Earth for play/trade.

Is this the same CCG Collector of ebay fame?

Re: Introduce yourself

Hello Vroomer,

I'm happy to see another player from the Southeast United States!

Don't be afraid of Ebay for MECCG cards, there are often good deals to be made there. Last month I was able to pick up a very nice Unlimited The One Ring for only a buck.

Thanks,
G.

Re: Shapeshifter's Haves and Wants

Are you familiar with shipping costs to and from the US?

I was born in Augsburg and spent some time in Berlin, but have never shipped cards overseas.

Interesting deck. I'll put this together and attempt to provide some feedback in the future.

Re: MECCG at ConQuest Avalon in Sacramento (11-13 Nov 2016)!

Thank you for the report!

I'm originally from Fair Oaks, so I would have definitely been there if I was home.

I look forward to your Arda decklist.

I agree and appreciate the input.

According to forum statistics and the value retention of cards, there should be plenty of participation here.

Twitter?

I think the idea of utilizing social media would be for player outreach, and not really for the established players.

Re: COE logo

Thank you.

I'm a University student, so I'll search out an artist that can create a digital image that will fit the player community needs.

Twitter users?

How many people utilize Twitter?

I've been thinking of (with Council permission) establishing an MECCG Twitter account with regular updates.

Ideas include:
Card giveaways
Trivia contests
Council announcements

Anyone think this could potentially promote the game and organization?

Thanks,
G.

Re: COE logo

Old post but still a very interesting idea :) , what about the current state of the project? Interesting work here. I'll discuss what can be made with some local artists and see what can be made. I think a fresh logo and rebranding could potentially liven things up around here. Imagine a new logo b...
