My confusion with Wizards Trove is: what other storable misc MP cards are there that are not already storable at a Haven?
Kill All But Not The Halflings, News of the Shire, Use Your Legs store at specifically Barad-dur, so don't automatically transfer to a generic Wizardhaven.

Re: Wizard's Trove as Quest Bypass?

From here: "Any reference to the site where the card can normally be stored are transferred instead to the Wizardhaven [ [-me_ha-] ]" Any reference to other conditions under which the card can be stored are not changed. "Any" number could be zero. Nothing about this creates a requirement that the c...

Wizard's Trove as Quest Bypass?

Wizard's Trove alternative use: ... Alternatively, you may store one miscellaneous marshalling point card at one of your Wizardhavens [ [-me_ha-] ]. Any reference to the site where the card can normally be stored are transferred instead to the Wizardhaven [ [-me_ha-] ]. Place Wizardʹs Trove with the...

Re: Twilight vs Many Sorrows Befall

Indeed, the comma hides whether they mean "it can be played at anytime and can be played either as a resource or as a hazard", or whether they mean "it can be played at anytime because it can be played either as a resource or as a hazard. Fortunately, the MELE rewording for the card does not suffer ...

Some other points of reference. (underline mine) 3. Is Great Secrets Buried There considered to be a resource or hazard Permanent-event when in play and played as a resource on yourself? *** It's a hazard card when it's resolved on the table as a permanent-event. Re: Twilight vs Many Sorrows Befall

Underline mine: If a card says it can be played as a resource, that does not mean it counts as a resource at any time except when it is being played . That is, Twilight does count as a resource while it is being played as a resource, so it would be a valid target for Many Sorrows Befall up until its...

Re: To the Uttermost Foundations

I'd say the tapping is one of the effects. I believe that tapping only necessitates an active condition when it is a condition for another effect. (Underline mine:) Annotation 5 : If an action requires an entity to tap as a condition for the action's main effect ... (The tap action still necessitate...

Re: New player questions.

Greetings! If you'd like, there is an Introduce Yourself thread. For your questions: 1) At most one copy per Site other than Havens. You can have as many Havens as you like. This is the general principle, though there are more rules about certain types of players not being allowed to have certain ty...

Re: Icy Touch (clarification)

My personal feeling is that this is too strong and not the intent. Existing CRF suggests that "placed" should be considered to follow the same one-per-turn limit as played. Stacking 4 corruption cards on a character in one turn isn't in the spirit of the rules. If there is to be a change, my prefere...

Re: Incite Denizens (carification)

I think the Dragon case still won't be handled because of the "When copying an attack put on the site by another card" part. Perhaps just: "When copying an attack put on the site by another card, Incite Denizens will not copy any other effects of the card. Remove the Incite Denizens attack if the at...
