The Under-roads vs Fallen Wizards

If a Fallen Wizard plays this card, do all his companies not containing orcs/trolls benefit from its effect?

Wizard testing a gold ring borne by the wizard himself

Spell. Wizard only, and only if a character in his company has a Gold Ring. Play to test a Gold Ring; make two rolls (or draw two #'s) and choose one result to use for the test. Wizard makes a corruption check modified by -1. A wizard is bearing a gold ring item. He plays Wizard test on the ring it...

And somebody took my title as temporary MVP of the tourney, which only lasted 24 hours.

Just out of curiosity: at what time did the game end? :)

Re: Playing Cards during the Free Council

IIRC the CRF says somewhere that resources which affect a dice roll are always playable (before the dice roll, of course ;)) but I'm too lazy to search :P
Then Old Friendship, A friend or three, or similar resources should be always playable at the council.

Re: Playing Cards during the Free Council

And could the opponent play Twilight in response on GoM to fizzle The Cock Crows? My guess is no, because that wouldn't affect directly any character's burden of corruption. Is that correct?

Re: IV. GCCG Nations Cup 2010 (Talk)

Changing an important rule while the tourney is already running is not very nice actually, but since this tourney is self-organized by the players themselves I think there would be no problem in allowing deck change before semifinals if all the 24 players taking part to the NC agree to do so.

Re: IV. GCCG Nations Cup 2010 (Talk)

I think allowing change of decks between swiss round and semifinals would make the tournament more interesting, I'm in favour of sucha proposal too.
Though my opinion doesn't matter much, since Italy has no hope to reach semifinals. :P

GCCG is working fine on my PC atm. I used to have that same problem sometimes in the past: I opened GCCG, but the GCCG window was completely black, w/out any sign of life, while all the other applications requiring internet connection worked normally. I've never been able to detect the origin of the...

There's a very good and exhaustive list here:

though there are some mistakes in the non-english card names ;)

So we need either another player for Trossel and REY or we must find rules for byes. According to the CoL rules we had to give 18 TP in round 1, 15 in round 2 and 12 in round 3. That tournament sheet would be totally messed up, but we should play it for fun anyway. Maybe give every bye 12 TP? :? I ...

True. But that would have made SotL a balanced card: it would have protected your company from hazards able to target it, but not from hazards with a general effect (like ahunt dragons or Ren's ability to trigger a mass cc), since they affect all companies in play, even your opponent's.

My complaint was about the limited usefulness of Spying out the Land. It is indeed useful when a company moves more than once in a turn (Here Is a Snake even doesn't have this upside, since it only affects the m/h phase it is played in), but IMO it is still a card with very low potential: nazguls an...

Time to keep my promise. I'm proud to introduce the italian team for the NC 2010. A team with absolutely no title whatsoever to boast, except for being probably the first team in the history of NC made of players from the same city. :P Here's the roman legion, i.e. team Italy, or Prima Legio Italica...

I searched in the CRF and found an entry regarding Here Is a Snake, which has the same effect (just different playability conditions): Playable on a company during its movement/hazard phase after cards have been drawn. Opponent may reveal to you any number of hazards from his hand. He may only play ...
