plenty of factions to go around, I would include two copies straight in deck (depending on type of deck of course), chances are you'll play a faction before drawing this card, even if only +2 for Beornings, it can be very useful against cave-drake.

I thought LDR and Morgul Horse were agreed upon, and then discussion focussed on Scimitars and Fury. Nobody seems to think Two Tribes is problem, personally I don't see problem with Helms, though it's same thematically like Scimitars I agree. So that would make 4 cards, is that longer or shorter tha...

hey, nice version! why a roll? nobody plays with diplomats anyway :D does seem like more of a sage thing though. So maybe riddling attempt is nice, I really dig riddling. Nobody liked my proposal for Wit unfortunately  - well wasn't that good either. On another note, I think Fair Travels in Fre...

Like it too, but it does resemble original very much, to the point where the original is no longer needed almost.

hm, I still think it is a rather long-winded way to exclude two cards, and I'm not even sure how it works, if Scimitars targets the nazgul or not etc. I'm with Bandobras, just to play Scimitars from this card, it was not designed for it, it's not thematic, it creates issues, and what does it really ...

Well Necklace and Mithril-coat were already on the card. But honestly, I hardly see them played, nice though they may be. If you can play wormsbane/orcrist/emerald/shield, why play Mithril-coat and load yourself with cp's for a not very usable item? And like I said, if you play Iron-crown, Fury can'...

yeah had forgotten Mithril Coat. Who plays Mithril Coat? How would you see ring special items reserved with this card? But that would be cool indeed, if you could play the ring without playing a gold ring and test first! The attack would have to be even tougher though, if you want to steal a Dwarven...

Well I doubt the (covert!) company would have untapped guys after going to the site, entering the site, playing an item, facing 3@10, playing another item, and facing again 3@10. If you can pull that off, you deserve to play 3 items in my book, just completely pillage that Dwarfhold I say! If...

well as far as I know, there is no reason why you couldn't include both a Sudden Call V and a regular one in the deck, you're not going to use more copies of the regular, are you? So that leaves two copies of Sudden Call V still. If you can play one directly from sideboard, there is no issue anyway....

first, uhm well good point. does it work like that? I mean, Minas Morgul is a darkhaven, whether you're hero or not, right? heroes just have to go to the darkhold version. Get my point? hope it works like that, or I would have to make it even more complicate, like 'if any version of home site is dar...

yeah, that would be a neat ability. Not completely thematic, but possibly very useful. Would have to figure out how that works though, because obviously some part of the Fell Rider doesn't apply (play in darkhaven during org phase), but rest still does (discard allies/followers), so maybe should men...

thinking about which guys this card could be played on, I found that there are a few that are problematic because they have home-site a darkhaven (shadow/darkhold would be problematic too, but there is only one with such site, that's Taladhan, but he's also got Dol Guldur as homesite so it's no prob...

It sure is! Will post some ring boost ideas shortly. I think it's not so bad to introduce some new dangers, if you also introduce new solutions. If you make rings more playable, then maybe boosting an active RW strat as counter could be justified. And active RW can hardly be boosted enough for the m...

I think normal Alatar/Radagast have the short stick. Wouldn't want to play chars in Rhosgobel by themselves, is a scary place :( Do FW need this card at all? otherwise we can exclude them from it. Does it help that much in fact? If you want to actively use chars, which we would promote, then you'd r...
