Re: Firstborn/Durin's Folk reprint (along with Nortern Waste)?

That all depends on how much interest there is in a reprint. But I must in all honesty say, I doubt that will happen.
We have a list of people who missed out on the printing, but that list is rather short for the moment.

Publishing the ME:AS and ME:WH Player Guides

Hmm, I can consider that, as long as it's just adding some card images to the available text. Still a lot of work, though. As I recall the text did not impress me overly, but it was like 20 years ago when I last read it. All depends on the interest there is in such a project, but if we can save some...

Middle-earth: The Northern Waste

Now that we are dedicated to make of ME: The Northern Waste the next completed DC set, first issue is to decide how to fit MENW into the DC game as thusfar developed. Should we view MENW as a normal DC expansion, should it be considered for scenario games only, or some mixture of the two? Some DC pl...

Re: DC Poll: which expansion is next?

@CDavis7M Wow, thanks! That's 2 pages of the Northern Waste Player Guide written right there! You did have the ready quite fast, makes me wonder if you had inside information about MENW being our next focus :-) the starting company may begin at any site. Is that from the METD scenario? isn't that a ...

Re: DC Poll: which expansion is next?

After running the poll for 9 months, with nearly 50 votes as result, it appears the DC community is quite evenly divided in their preferences for a next DC set. The Northern Waste received 35% of votes, The Great Wyrms 27%, and the Trilogy sets (Return of the Shadow, Treason of Isengard, War of the ...

Re: "Unofficial" DC regions

Sure, you can use them. As stated, though, all official new sites are located in standard regions or new regions adjacent to these. So unless you plan to take a needless detour, I believe your example of Sea of Rhun is the only one where it actually matters? You might circumvent Angmar/Gundabad by m...

Re: Tharbad is a Ruin and a Port ?

you have to juggle with 3 rule books, with one modifying rules of the others... Firstly, this concerns (currently) only minor issues, but second and more importantly, it is also how ICE approached rules  Rules for later sets not only trump earlier sets, but were used to correct mistakes/imbal...

Re: +1 Tapping to Support

Beorn can become a Skin-changer and just face all of them ;-) If he feels homesick by the end of the turn, just let him sniff his Pocket Handkerchief . There is a DC bad-ass who can help out a friend even when he's fighting, and that's Flói. Of course, with that kind of attitude, he didn't live very...

Re: FW Gandalf - Very Respectable Hobbits Never Had Any Adventures or Did Anything Unexpected + Black Riders

Limiting Tuckburrow to battle-gear items might be a good idea indeed, thematic as well. If anything, major items should be more available at Sackville, which was a market town. It's not just the moving in a [-me_fd-] that's the problem, Assassins can still get the poor Hobbits at all sites and they ...

Re: FW Gandalf - Very Respectable Hobbits Never Had Any Adventures or Did Anything Unexpected + Black Riders

Your (Fallen-Gandalf) Shire-shuffle, though very thematical!, is exactly what some people dislike about ME: Return of the Shadow. The many sites in The Shire allow for operating within a very tight location deck (i.e. a single region). But these sites are from the Unexpected Party publication and me...

AFAIK, they stay in play, until next long-event phase.
