Well, I can think of far worse cards than Vanishment, Sacrifice of Form, Rebuild the Town, Open to the Summons, Waiting Shadow, Wondrous Maps (continue?) as well  Purpose of virtuals is not only to fix cards that are worthless, almost all cards can have a function in the right deck after all, ...

Just noticed the board on agendasetting has been opened to all registered members, not sure when this was done, but if it had already been opened before I posted the above post, then I obviously have to take back some of the statements made there. I wondered why this post didn't generate any comment...

Couldn't agree more, and not to say I told you so, but I told Frodo so  already when the first version was posted last year, that this could and probably would have devastating effects on the game, beyond what is good fun. (the minus 3 for Sauron likewise, but this was all before debate on the...

However, making Black Arrow unique isn't such a strange idea. First, it was unique (Bard only had one), second you couldn't then start with it, and third you can make it more powerful without worrying about too excessive effects. Black Arrow is useful now, but not that useful, I fully agree with Gua...

Good suggestion, there are other dreamcards around that let you start with unexpected party (or recycle it), but Thror's map seems actually a thematically very logical choice indeed. Why not tap a dwarf to reduce the number of strikes of an at home manifestation? rather than general dragon creature ...

Let's book it! good card Jambo. Though, the V nazgul abroad interaction makes it a bit tricky, keeping three of these there doesn't fill up hand space and can outright kill Galadriel, ough, that hurts! , provided you have the hazard limit of course. Not too many free hazards Vastor, nazgul might get...

Well WoS is a perm, and as such it would be a sole exception to play IDBT on, so not strange to mention it separately. Pretty cool one Jambo, I think I'm going to like this card very much, make a long event last two turns, prevent marvels from targetting your card....the hazards are going to rule mo...

Nice V card Bandobras, of course Geann-a-Lisch is an ICE invention (more or less), but still this makes more thematic coastal play feasable. The dunadain can't be cancelled, but the maia can? why's that? usually the maia can't be cancelled either (Tom, Sauron). Also along Rhosgobel lines, 2@13 would...

Leon wrote: This is what virtualizing cards is about, improving a weak card to enhance a weak strategy. Ahum, don't know which game you've been playing, but orcs are very very strong, I'd say the best coherent hazard strategy around actually (because of keyability). The number of times I've squashe...

okay guys, thanks for quick reply, going to check it out in a moment, let you know if all's well, or bug you with more questions  the fact that on the gccg site linux is mentioned first, mac second and windows last, is sign enough...but Bill did something right, if only the merchandising, so m...

sigh, I tried this programm some two years ago as well, and decided it was just way too user unfriendly for non-computer wizards like myself - though I definitely don't consider myself a dummy either. I just don't have the time (or want to invest it) to spend hours mastering this programm. Am I the ...

My problem is exactly with attatching (semi)private projects, as you say, to the CoE. I see no reason why these (e.g. Virtuals) should be here, and neither a reason why it can't be at meccg.net. I wrote some lines about it several days ago which I didn't get around to post yet because my access to t...

I must agree with Wacho. Knowing one of the persons involved a bit, and knowing him quite capable of letting things grow out of proportion, I still can't judge in this matter, nor can most of us. And honestly, it's not that important. I hope it will all prove to be just an incident between two peopl...
