Re: I. GCCG DCCD Nations Cup 2010 (Rules/Pairings/Results)
donepi vs. beorning ended 32 - 27, means 4 - 2 for Spain It was a great and tough game...and a bit weird also. (Aradagor conjured a Wind-demon and was eaten up by it, Durlach showed up in turn 7, Umagaur was a wimp from the beginning (getting killed 1st turn). Imrahil's boys failed most influence ch...

Who is the first to respond in a chain of effects?
Given the case a company wants to travel through at least one [-me_wi-] and Snowstorm is already in play at the beginning of the m/h-phase. First thing that will happen is the triggering of this passive condition to which both players could respond by playing a card in this chain of effects, right? ...

Re: I. GCCG DCCD Nations Cup 2010 (Rules/Pairings/Results)
However, you are allowed to bring in any site to the table, just as you are allowed to bring your own full site deck to a dccd tournament in real life. Thus you have more room to improvise, and CvCC is always an option in cross-alignment games. Are you sure you really want that? In a challe...

Cool Play
No normal Cool Play tournament this year?
It's always so much fun to construct those decks.
How do these new Cool Play Challenge Decks look like (decklists available)?

The wizard you picked starts play in your starting company, it never goes to the roving character pile. So you start your game with the normal 20 GI characters PLUS your wizard. Ah, now I seem to understand your problem. If you trade resources (either from your MP-hand or from your resource-hand) yo...

Re: Question about the wizard in the ARDA rule set
Hi jorrit, It is not explained what you should do with your wizard cards. Are the wizards cards included with the roving character deck? Or where else are they? Each player picks one of the wizards to start with before the game begins. You start the game with that wizard. On page 3 it says you can b...

Foolish Words on-guard
May I reveal an on-guard Foolish Words and place it on a character that makes an influence attempt and was just brought into play during the site phase?

Hazards playable on "company" without characters?
If a company looses all of its characters during the m/h-phase may one still play hazards on that company if there is a hazard limit left?

I´d like to add that there was an Arda tournament as well. We played three games (one game each day) and at the end the one with most MPs of all 3 games won the title. I think Joe will post results as soon as he has returned home. I also brought Nico's Dream Card Challenge Decks to Worlds. Unfortuna...
