MECCG Europeans 2010: accomodations

Many of the attendees who will come to Rome for the 2010 europeans may want to share their accomodation with other players in the same hostel (or any other turistic facility) to reduce costs and have the chance to hang out with each other when they're not at the euro2010 location: many people are pl...

Call for a webmaster for Euros 2010 website

Hi all. Sorry for not having been around for a while. I'm opening this new thread to ask if there's anyone who would be willing to be the webmaster for the 2010 Europeans homepage. The contents are basically ready: I already prepared graphics (buttons, backgrounds, images...), drafted the text parts...

Re: Rumours of Rings Deck

IIRC when I last played Arda discarding/drawing at the ned of turn was only allowed for your 8 cards hand, not for your 5 cards MP hand, that's why a separate pile for ring special items was so necessary. Maybe our table played this rule wrong... :?

Re: Rumours of Rings Deck

At the last Lure we tried another solution which turned out to be pretty balanced: keeping all the ring special items in a separate pile. When you're allowed to draw an MP resource to fill your MP hand, you can choose to draw from the ring special items pile instead of the standard MP resources pile...

Re: Discarding Wizards Trove

RIGHT! That is supercool, if somebody builds a deck to exploit this I buy him a beer! Hmm... maybe playing a Minas Tirith squat deck (factions, palantir, choice of luthien, rotk, fealty sworn...) w/ a roadblock tapping site hazard strategy (DoN+long winter and/or foul fumes) would do: once Minas Ti...

Hosting a website for euro 2010 on www.councilofelrond.org ?

Hi all, we'd like to open a website for the 2010 Europeans of MECCG, containing all the useful infos for attendees, photos, results, reports and so on. I already asked the webmaster of http://www.meccg.it if it can be hosted there, but he's very busy and I still had no answer so far. While I'm waiti...

Very nice job: that page is exhaustive and clear.
Just a little request. Can anyone correct my last name from "Di Luca" into "De Lucia"? ;)

Re: Returned Beyond All Hope

I think it goes on without saying that you can only hold in your hand the cards you own. ;)
Do we really need an errata to remind people that they can only target Maia perm-events they own when playing RBAH?

Re: Abductor

I think I finally found the answer :) Annotation 19: Following each successful strike or failed strike, a body check must be rolled (unless the failed strike has no body). However, if the strike calls for any special actions to follow it (e.g., a character wounded by William may be required to disca...

Re: Abductor

I think the Abductor's text has to be interpreted that the non-wizard character gets discarded if he survives the body check. Normally, if the character cannot be wounded as a consequence of the strike (and for this reason no body check is rolled), it is explicitly mentioned by the creature's text. ...

little suggestion for improvement

Hope you enjoy it! It is kind of version 1.0, so if you have any ideas how to improve/extend it, let me now. Indeed I enjoyed it. :) You could add some bar charts, in order to get a more "immediate" visual representation of the differences between playing SS, playing BT, and playing none....
