Re: CVCC kill points only if you may attack?
I'm not sure why you should only get CVCC kill points if you attack... If a defending character is eliminated, the attacking player receives “kill” marshalling points as indicated on the character’s card. If an attacking character is eliminated, the defending player receives “kill” marshalling poin...

Imagine you’re moving on the first turn from Rivendell to Moria to play Gollum. During your organization phase, you played Secret Passage, and you started the m/h-phase with a different company from the Moria company. When you reveal the site, your opponent looks at you kinda funny, as though to as...

You say the hog wouldn't be the same without his big Hill Trolls... well, yes, of course. But can't he just play them in his deck as normal characters, like all the other avatars? If he wants 2-mind or 1-mind characters from the sb, no problem. Alternatively, there's an even weaker version of the b...

I have absolutely no problem with endorsing any UEPs. Jamie and co. have done great work with them. We might even have some of them in effect at the next year's Nordic Cup, but I would keep Nationals, EC and Worlds UEP-free. In the thread I entered the discussion when the talk had already turned to ...

The Finnish Council has never used the 2-mind rule, and we have seen no reason to start doing so. In our tournaments there have always been several competetive non-Balrog decks, and as far as I can remember, last year was the only time a Balrog deck won the Nationals (well, one deck was Balrog, othe...

The qualifiers are big events. So instead of one, we could have three major tournaments and the finals. I don't understand why you think people would need to play in all three qualifiers. One is plenty if you play well enough. You might have bad luck, so you can try again in the next tournament if y...

I agree with Kris, the percentage in favour of the change should be great. Otherwise only a bit over half of the (voting) community agrees to follow the 'new' council?!? I don't see any reason why people would vote against it, as long as the needs and reasons for the changes are well documented for ...

Well the number of invitations given in a tournament would be dependant on the number of participants in the tournament. So for example if in the first tournament there are 18 players, top 3 would get invitation. In the second tournament there are only 10 players, so only top 2 would get invitation....

Good stuff... I think the tournament where the pre-Q slot is up for grabs, should be an invitational. We could have maybe 3 normal 2-deck tournaments per year, and the top 2 or 3 of those tournaments would receive an invitation to the pre-Q tournament. The only real problem I see is judging. It's im...
