Re: Bold AA at Barad-dûr - secret weapon of Balrog?
Thanks for cents, some dollars please... LOL, you are a true rules lawyer, mate. Probably Babdobras Took is right, the moment of the ruling is very important to state the intention of the wording. You are also correct, no interpretation should be made if a RAW option is available. Pure logic...

• Chance of Being Lost and Winds of Wrath: You may play these cards against any opponent who is using the same type of location deck (hero sites or minion sites) as yourself. Is the same thing type of location deck and sites in the location deck ? I see your point here, but I think the rulings look...

Re: Tourney reports
The clock can be used through the movement hazard phase. It only requires clear communication between opponents. Example: Player 1: Party One of Gandalf alone at Rivendel. He is not moving. Hazard limit of two. <clicks clock> Player 2: I play Doors of Night and ... Player 1: I have a response. Play...

Re: Tourney reports
The chess clock is a good idea, but as I said before, there are some phases of the turn that are 'shared' among both players, like the m/h phase. Rules should be well stablished to avoid enforcing the use of the clock but still failing to achieve its goal. It would be awful to see a player stalling ...

Re: Tourney reports
Not to mention that we are so few that most of the tournament coordinators are also players, and at that moment they are at their own game

Re: NetMECCG on 64bit OS
I don't use it, but I'm a bit of an abandonware fan, so I run with this problem from time to time. Try this: Right click on the icon Porperties Compatibility tag Run this program in compatibility mode for... and choose XP service pack 3 (most usual), or any other that works. Sometimes it works, some...

Re: Tourney reports
Yeah, tie-breaking should be revised. I still remember my first championship, back in the 90's, it was Madrid's first official tournament (oh, nice days when still basic rules were played and Old Road + Muster + 3MP Factions was the mega-combo), and I remember I gained the 4th place due to tie break...

Re: Tourney reports
Thanks for the report, Mark. I'm sure it was a great time. Personal report: I played a deck that was very similar to the hero deck I used to win worlds 2013 -- short rest in Eriador with Radagast. Gotcha! Reflections on the state of the game: As I remarked after Worlds 2013, the tiebreaker sys...

Re: GCCG Moved to New Server
Hi there:
New computer, complete new SVN Chckout, recovered .gccg folder, everything runs well except for one thing: keyboard language. Can I configure the GCCG client to use my native (spanish) keyboard? With the previous computer I didn't have this problem...
Thanks in advance

Re: New metw SVN server needed, among other things
Well, here is my opinion: we need GCCG running. It's the only way to rapid playtest decks and also and over all, the only online way to play it, which means more or less the only way for me to play nowadays. Even when I go to my friends' houses, I carry the laptop with me to play, not the cards, it'...

What would be the importance, apart from Lure of Power? Anything else can be triggered?

I thought the same, that you simply cannot influence him, but just looking for a second opinion on this issue. Thanks mate.
