Re: Beginning/end of phase and turn #2
Yes sorry I didn't mean to cut the rest out. The rest is important. It was just those two paragraphs that I had to re-read a couple of times and got confused by. Just the bullet-points make it a bit clearer I think. I can see what CDavis7M means to a degree when he says a regulation isn't needed. So...

Re: Beginning/end of phase and turn #2
Interesting discussion! As CDavis7M said before, the game's designers were RPGers and Tolkien fans, so there isn't the rigour in the rules of, say, an Avalon Hill wargame, so I commend the effort to establish clarity. I spotted a couple of layout/ wording changes to the proposal that would make it e...

Re: UK Community
Hi Greenfield! A surprise that the Tolkien's home country should be least active regards this game Well now I know there's at least one more player in the UK When the lockdown ends it would be great to organise a UK Arda game at a convention like StabCon or BastionCon.

Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
Flattery and Not at Home duly noted as ways to ruin a Dragon's day!
Oh sure, but I just wondered if anyone could see a mechanical difficulty with deleting the guessing game from Riddling Talk. I can't see that there would be, but still.

Re: DC Expansions: a short overview
So if you decide to print the cards for yourself - please do - is what many players do - but please do not stage any kind of print offense to print more than you need. If you're concerned that I will print cards and sell them to the unwary rest assured, I would never do that! I am Yangtze2000 on BG...

Re: DC Expansions: a short overview
Print On Demand. Yes, I fully intend to explore and play on Cardnum, but I just wondered if they were available POD, or by some other means, as ready-made hard copy

Re: DC Expansions: a short overview
This looks amazing! There may be one or two expansions here that are of interest to me. Are they available POD? Or is it only when they are printed/ re-printed traditionally?

Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
Thanks! Interesting call, but... I'm not sure I like the entirety of this card. It seems neither does GG, since none feature in his Arda deck. So, you jump me with Smaug. I play Riddling Talk on one of the Characters in my Company. I roll and make the required 8+. But I now have to guess one of the ...
