Re: COE Agenda 2010/11 - list of items
I see this topic is going a little astray from the starting point. Being said that, I consider it as a positive sign, since this shows a great motivation of the current members and a lot of will to do many things. ;) I'll post my 2 cents to bring the topic back to its original purpose. The list is p...

Re: Charter Amendment (and/or rewrite) Involving Errata
Having a non-voting CoE spokesperson for each national council would be a good idea. IIRC there were such spokespersons, until a few years ago. Let each NC decide the way they want to choose their own spokesperson and how long his term should be. The CoE may just limit itself to evaluate whether the...

Re: 2010 - 2011 Agenda Item 1 - Vice Chairman
As far as I'm concerned, Marcos has my "aye" as vice chairman. The way I see it, the chairman represents a point of reference for coordinating issues and for deciding the agenda-setting priorities. A vice is maybe not necessary, but he may always be useful, should the chairman be absent fo...

Re: ICE-Era Rulings and Conservatives
I think we should first of all consider the CoE's mission. Its mission consists of keeping MECCG alive and well. Alive and well means basically having the widest possible number of players who are satisfied with the game. For this purpose, the CoE should represent all the players: both the more and ...

Re: MECCG Europeans 2010: accomodations
The usual location for our MECCG evening's meetings is a pub called "fatamorgana" (we also played the last nationals there). That's a nice place to play MECCG while sipping a drink. The address is via dei Volsci, 3 . It's close to the Termini area, then it can be reached by feet from the h...

Re: Europeans 2010 program
I just publiahed a first draft of the schedule for the whole 3 days: you can check it out at http://www.councilofelrond.org/euro2010/schedule/ If it's fine we can confirm it. Otherwise, if anyone has some amendments to suggest, feel free to ask. ;) Of course the schedule has to be taken with a grain...

Re: MECCG Europeans 2010: accomodations
For those who want some suggestions, I made a search on hostelworld and found some cheap accomodation with a pretty central position, they're all a few subway stations away from the euros location. In particular, the Youth Station Hostel is only 3 stations away. The sooner you book your accomodation...

Europeans 2010 program
Time to define more in detail the program for the upcoming 2010 MECCG european championship. Everyone please specify which tourneys you'd mostly like to see scheduled (besides the 2-deck general opponent, of course ;)): virtual cards, dream cards, cool play, and so on. You can also specify when (fri...
