Re: Effects played during the organization phase, and depend on the site or site path ofite or site path of a moving com
Hmm, I'd like to suggest different wording then, since it seems like the existing CRF speaks of the org effects creating additional effects, but your proposal only discusses organization effects. This is under my impression that your purpose is to clarify that the hazard player (under Annotation 26)...

Re: Wizard's Trove as Quest Bypass?
I would appreciate such codification. Resource permanent-events may not be stored by default. To be storable they need a phrase that allows them to be stored. Right; where we differ is that I believe that "you may store" is such a phrase, as much as "you may play" is that phrase ...

Do you see any concern for interaction with:
CRF wrote:A card causing an action as a result of a passive condition must be in play when the action resolves, or else the action is canceled.

Re: roadblock cards
What I need is to pinpoint the rule in the original rules that in any shape or form backs this erratum for ending the M/H phase immediately. I mean where did you get that?? Maybe this is the kind of thing you have in mind? Under preamble for chapter 6, Movement: Clarification: some cards can interr...

Re: Wizard's Trove as Quest Bypass?
And yet you agreed that "You may bring into play one character with up to a 6 mind" on Thrall of the Voice does more than "only alter the conditions," but it creates its own mechanic. Not true. You are manipulating. "You may bring into play one character with up to a 6 mind...

Re: Wizard's Trove as Quest Bypass?
You are claiming Wizard's Trove is somehow special, that it (and it alone of permanent events?) creates its own play allowance, despite not being a short-event, and despite having the same phrasing as several other short-events which for some reason do not create their own allowance despite you say...

Re: (Easy way of) killing of Spider of the Môrlat (?)
Ah right. I was thinking of during the strike sequence, not between.
On the other hand, one could also argue that returning the card to your hand at that point does not disassociate the card from being treated as a defeated creature and placed in MP pile, so what would be the point.

Re: (Easy way of) killing of Spider of the Môrlat (?)
Aside - can't you return the Spider of Morlat to your hand after 2 strikes? (Before the 3rd). I don't believe so. The attack has already been created, so returning it to your hand does not affect the attack, so you are not allowed to do it. Annotation 17: The only actions that may be declared durin...

Re: (Easy way of) killing of Spider of the Môrlat (?)
I'm on the same page as Konrad. I've attempted to "earnestly study this matter" and found no rules texts that would override the quoted The Balrog clarification. It stipulates three requirements for its implication: card is a hazard permanent event card indicates "kill" marshalli...

Re: Fallen Wizard use of characters
So " using hero item resource card by a Ringwraith player" is considered as exception from "only Wizard players may include hero characters, resources, and sites in their decks." Sure, in that instance. Rules Digest 43 specifically refers to a different instance. Try to obey it ...

Re: Snake Eyes for CC rolls
If this was inspired by our game (which I hope so, given the timing!), the question I was considering was "what are the odds of getting 2 on a CC TWICE (or more) in one game?" I do like thinking about things like this. Your estimate of 30-40 corruption checks per game seems pretty high to ...

Re: Cancel Attack (conundrum)
At the "strikes are assigned" point. Annotation 13: An attack may not be canceled once its strikes have been assigned. A strike may not be canceled once the dice-roll for the strike has been made. In terms of your original question: Real simple, I announce Ambusher, I ask for Cancel he say...

Fallen Wizard use of characters
Perusing old mailings, I found this interesting statement : Thrall specifically allows you to have a six mind character in the starting company. They are still forbidden in the deck even as agent hazards. Since this would invalidate both of the Fallen Wizard decks that made it to finals in this year...

Re: Cancel Attack (conundrum)
My impression is that the complete order should be something like: You announce Ambusher card opponent gets a chance to respond you get a chance to respond (alternate additional chances to respond if either responded until both players don't respond in succession) Ambusher card resolves (assuming it...
