I would say that playing a card is a process of putting the card into play from anywhere (be it hand normally; discard pile, sideboard or even play deck with appropriate cards) .... so Stealth would cancel the Long Dark Reach creature I know the problem isn't solved as of now, but I've got a new que...

the cross-alignment targeting ban is for fallen wizards only, other alignment do not make the distinction between minion/hero resources but as far as Weigh All.../Smoke Rings in a fallen deck - I always thought that those resources target the card you want to fetch, therefore the cross-alignment tar...

Status of MECCG
Can someone fill me in on where does MECCG stand legal-wise? I mean the game is officially dead and as far as I know no one (ICE, Tolkien Enterprises) takes care of it or gives a damn about it's faithful player base so what's stopping us from making our own rules, our own card sets and publishing th...

I'm very sorry that I've held the disscussion here for so long It seams that currently we don't have the manpower to organize European Championships in Poland While I can organize the technical part all by myself as well as advertise the event and send invitations, I need someone to find a good chea...

I won't be going to the Worlds as the trip to USA itself is WAAAAAY above my budget, and also I doubt any players from Poland show up there but I'd like to share my opinion about this with you guys I don't really get why do you need a qualifier then semi-finals and after that the finals - this way l...

time for some more personal insights - though I came 3rd in the final standings which is satisfying enough :P I was really bummed for a while after the tournament as my deck didn't work as I planned... or rather I should say it worked exactly as planned every game but the dice were against me that d...

VI Polish MECCG Nationals- REPORT
We had out 6th Nationals recently - as most of you probably know as I've tried to advertise them as much as I could. Unfortunately no foreigners came - you loss our gain :P Just kidding of course I understand it's difficult to travel to another country for a Tournament especially with such annual (a...

be sure to bring plenty of Twilight's then :P seriously, IF someone in Poland will take on to organize Euros 2007 then it most probably be at the end of October or at the beginning of November - I estimate chances for snow as about 35% As I'm sure everyone knows (cuz I've been trying to let everyone...

I'd contest that -- normal means as written on the card, and according to the card's text, if a company has discarded the items, the gold ring is playable. Likewise, the hero Palantir of Amon Sul is normally worth 5 MPs if it has been stored and normally worth 3 if it hasn't. I think. :) I think it...

We in Poland are going to have a tournament sometime in autumn anyway, and in a fairly nice and spacey place I think (in Zabrze), so maybe I'd be able to convince the people who organized tournaments in Zabrze last two times to make a grand event this year, go all the way and organize Euro's there.....

it won't work - even with Through Search/Catch an Elusive Scent Hidden Haven cancels anything that's playable so it will also cancel the new item playeble there - as Wacho said and on the other hand Through Search/Catch an Elusive Scent say that an item normally playable at the site may be played - ...
