The only positive would be a trick to discard all characters of a company at any time... Could be used to increase unused general influence in a defense move.

I thought the idea behind Crown of Flowers was a trick to use by cards requiring Gates of Morning when Doors of Night were in play.

It could be the same thing with Refuge and other cards.

A counter to Rolled would be a card to remove specific cards out of the game. I forgot which ones do that.
