Re: Tournament Reports of EM 2010
Due to the fact that i slept 25 hours from Monday evening to Wednesday morning I wasnt able to finish my report yet (but i started!). Just 2 remarks on the (very nice and detailed!) reports by Heiner and Wolfgang: @Heiner: I dont see why you have the anti-fw hazards in deck in all 3 games. IMO you s...

Re: Cards for Arda Expanded World
I found a small mistake: truths of doom has the wrong symbol in the last line. I guess there still is no DI pile

Re: Extra-Cancelling in a Wizardhaven!
If there is an attack at a Wizardhaven,it will trigger the canceling action of the Wizardhaven. It may, at your option, try to trigger Farmer Maggot. However, Farmer Maggot is not required to be an action in a chain of effects at all. The canceling of the Wizardhaven must be declared, and if you at...

Re: Extra-Cancelling in a Wizardhaven!
Passive conditions are the one thing I have no clue about. I tried to learn something the last hour, so I was reading through the CRF and zaras Passive Condition tutorial and I am sorry to say, but I wasnt able to reproduce your conclusions. If a card specifies that an action is to occur as a result...

Extra-Cancelling in a Wizardhaven!
Hey, Given I have a company in a "Hidden Haven". If my company now gets attacked, the Hidden Haven card states, that the attack is cancelled. Can I still play another card or use another cards effect to cancel the attack (so to say in response to Hidden Haven triggering) ? I have some wild...

Re: Rumours of Rings Deck
IIRC when I last played Arda discarding/drawing at the ned of turn was only allowed for your 8 cards hand, not for your 5 cards MP hand, that's why a separate pile for ring special items was so necessary. Maybe our table played this rule wrong... :? There is no such ting as "wrong" in ARD...

Re: Rumours of Rings Deck
I totally agree on this one. I never experienced (or saw somebody doing so) a hand clog in all my ARDA games.Thorsten the Traveller wrote: Personally I find handclog rather nonsense in Arda.

Okay, do you also agree that it was misplayed in the past or was it only my very personal impression?

Discarding Wizards Trove
It seems common prcatice to discard a Wizards Trove after the succesful paly of the White Tree in order to fulfill the requirement of Echoes of the Song. Looking again at the card I would say, that the White Tree is only 1 MP then, because there is no Stage Card in play that states the opposite. Am ...
