Re: My new map

I wouldn't say wrong, it's a beautiful map! :)
But the map is cropped and unfortunately the connections between aforementioned regions are in the area's that are cut.

Re: My new map

Nice! The standard ICE map, but now WITH sites and not just the regions. Well done :)

EDIT: One thing though: on your map it doesn't show the connections between Khand & Nurn and Horse Plains & Nurn. It looks like the lower and right edge are cropped compared to the official map.

Re: Newbie rules questions

Hi Paul! Join us on GCCG! There's always players around and most are very willing to play some teaching-games with you. See you there :) Installing the client is a bit different than you might be accustomed to, but this way you can update everything really easy! Follow these instructions (thx Vastor...

Re: "Well, I'm back."

I have absolutely no problems with on-guards played solely for drawing the extra card(s). In fact, since on-guards are essentially bluff-cards, for me it would spoil the fun if I would know an on-guard is always an actually playable hazard! So, if you're playing against me, by all means, play as man...

Re: Sounds in GCCG - discussion thread

The only thing my girlfriend likes about MECCG is the sounds in gccg... The sounds are the only MECCG-thing we can connect about, so yeah... I like the sounds!!

Just because River is so boring I thought you could give it a little extra... But maybe you're right.

Sounds in GCCG - discussion thread

Hi all,

I thought it might be nice to have a special place for discussion, requests and ideas about the sounds in GCCG.
Let me start with a request: can we have a running water sound for River?

By the way: who is responsible for these sounds, who puts them in GCCG? Is it you, Vastor?

Re: Bold Thrust or Swift Strokes - a probabilistic review

Cool read!
For the sake of completeness: in a version 1.1 could you add the texts of the cards? For us noobies that would certainly make the comparison easier to follow.

Re: Two questions

Might I suggest you use the Starter Decks created by thorondor ? They were created especially to introduce new players to the game, and hence don't require the player to use the more complex card mechanics and combos. Also, these decks are about 40 cards each, which will save you some time. And best...

request for removal of spamming user-account

Hello mr admin, maybe you have already noticed, but it looks like there's a SPAM-bot at work on these forums. Please remove all posts by 'Dennisg' and block that account so we don't get bothered by these random blocks of text. Thanks!

I'm sorry, marcos, all I can say is I have no problems at all. That might indicate the problem is not with gccg though. Did you change something on your PC lately? Changed some settings/installed new software?

I'd say do an SVN update of the gccg folders and try again.

new background in gccg: I LOVE it!

Hi all, Haven't logged into Gccg in a while so imagine my surprise when I saw the new background pic. I'm not sure who to give credit for this, but whoever uploaded that new background (I guess you need to SVN-update to see it) deserves a BIG thumbs up! I love it, SO much better than the previous bl...
