Re: Arda Co-op?

Also added the darkness mechanic from Theo's rules, which everyone liked. We reached the 100 points for victory the turn before darkness would have caused defeat. I am still going to go through the hazzard decks from scratch for the next test game, and am still considering more mission or objective...

Have you looked at this thread by Theo? "Dissipate Darkness/Audacity -- A General Cooperative Variant"

Re: WAY Overpriced Ebay Auctions, or What would Lotho charge?

Unless I'm mistaken this is from a player at the Facebook group. There is a collection of sale prices maintained by "Jan" over there but sometimes people take the price for singles and just add it up for a collection and the card market doesn't work like that. A good candidate for this th...

Re: Fun, non-serious AI Generated Deck

It's interesting that the AI seems to have merged ideas from the various Middle Earth card games out there. I see elements of the LotR LCG in here, but also stuff that seems to come from LotR TCG. I love the generic card game strategy tips, though, like this chestnut, "Overall, this deck requir...

Re: Storage Solutions

FYI, that filing cabinet fits two 800-count card boxes (BCW, etc) in each drawer, fairly snugly. Thanks! I saw your pictures above and noted that, but I think I'd prefer to store the cards vertically (like Theo's example) as opposed to horizontally as you've chosen to do. I don't know if there's en...

Looking into the Helmer as a good storage solution myself. What did you use to create the divisions within the drawer?

I prefer the generic lego men. Like these "Rangers of Ithilien,"
I had that set! These "robinhood" sets and the pirate sets were my favorites as a kid. I believe all of the pieces might still be floating around in my parents' attic.

WAY Overpriced Ebay Auctions, or What would Lotho charge?

I do some Star Wars CCG collecting in addition to MECCG, and over on that forum there's an endlessly amusing thread of obscenely overpriced or otherwise laughable Ebay listings. I've seen some good ones for MECCG over the years, and thought it would lighten the mood around here to share a few recent...

Wow, sorry to hear that happened to you! In light of this experience, do you think it's safer to avoid declaring the full value on the customs declaration? And did you have insurance on it?

Latest best practice for shipping US <> UK?

Is anyone up to date on shipping cards between US and UK, either direction? Just wondering about current best practices for avoiding any sort of customs fees and ensuring a fast/safe delivery. Thanks in advance!

Re: CoE Elections for 2023-2025

I barely get a chance to play the game anymore (two young kids and a demanding job will do that!), though I lurk on the forums and hope to get back into the game more one day. With that caveat, I want to chime in to encourage any prospective council members to examine the player councils, committees...

Re: MECCG decks found in a dumpster - worth keeping?

1 pblm for an all common deck : no ally so points are doubled for your opponent. What about Noble Steed or Noble Hound? They're both commons, I believe. While Dark Minions may be harder to come by for Noble Hound, many players have a boatload of White Hand commons, I would imagine, making Noble Ste...
