Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
Maybe the situation is different in Europe, but you definitely can't find a booster box plus the challenge box for under $200 here! The other drawback to that strategy is that you want a lot of rares for Arda, which aren't that common in packs but which also can often be purchased pretty cheaply use...

Re: Stacking the Cards of Larger Decks
Is there for Arda games? I can't think of why else you would be using decks of that size. In any case, for Arda, the big draw deck is usually randomly split into 4-5 decks and distributed around the table for easy access to all players. You're allowed to draw from any of the decks (they're all techn...

Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
For Arda, you're better off buying a bulk lot of extras from somebody than you are buying sealed product. Most of the cards you want for Arda are not all that expensive -- most will be from The Wizards with various additions from The Dragons and Dark Minions -- and generally should be easily availab...

Re: [FO] Looking for the value of a MECCG Gift Set
Are the dice red or gray? There's been a glut of gray dice recently, and so their value isn't that high right now (maybe more like $8-10 for a pair). Red might fetch $15-20.

Re: Deep Mines/Ancient Deep-Hold connectivity
But the Balrog player can't actually travel to the Deep Mines site... so would be in a dead-end. It honestly doesn't make sense that a site of one alignment could target a site that doesn't exist in that same alignment.

Re: Fellowship zoomed in image value?
Sorry to disappoint, I don't believe that particular misprint has any special value.

Re: Card themes illustrated by a single artist
Minor, but brothers Elladan and Elrohir are both by April Lee (missed opportunity not to also give her Arwen and/or Elrond).
Also, 3 of the 4 Ent allies are by Gail McIntosh, but for some reason they gave Treebeard to Angus McBride (and frankly, it's one of my least favorite artworks of his).

Re: Publishing the ME:AS and ME:WH Player Guides
My recollection is that both of these guides are limited in content, and much of it may be outdated by this point. They provide no lore, and the content is limited to discussion of strategy for each fallen-wizard, a brief review of each card, and some general strategy points at the end. There are no...
