Re: Firstborn/Durin's Folk reprint (along with Nortern Waste)?
I've missed out on all the DC sets, so I'd be up for reprints as well.

Re: Unique Cards in an Arda Deck?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but unique cards are unique for all players, not just the owner, right? In other words, if five people are playing a game together and each of them has Bilbo, only the first one to play him gets him, and he becomes a dead card for the rest. It's not like there can be five Bi...

Re: [FS] Singles from METW, MELE, MEAS, MEWH
Bumping, as all these cards are still available. I also have plenty of commons and uncommons from the four sets (no Dark Tryst), so feel free to ask if you've got any specific needs there.

Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
Ah, Flatter a Foe was the card I was trying to remember. My first thought was The Riddle Game, but that was even less relevant than Riddling Talk.Goblin King wrote: ↑Wed Jun 10, 2020 10:09 amIt does not include Riddle Game but it does include Flattery. Flattery has saved my bacon many times from a dragon and so has Not at Home.

Re: Promo cards and misprints
just went over these again - main difference for these challenge deck "Lure of " cards is that : opponent makes the roll to remove these - was that ever discussed as offical errata ? or did I just not care enough to remember it back in the days Previously the character made the roll, whic...

This card kind of does that:Yangtze2000 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 11:37 am There could be some kind of Storytelling/ Raconteur skill for some appropriate characters that you can use to entertain and engage a Dragon in conversation to prevent attack?

Re: Which sets are best for ARDA?
The hero decklist I use, designed by Gandalf Gene and likely available somewhere on this site, is 377 distinct cards (695 cards total, as many have multiples), with 300 of those being from METW. The rest is 59 METD, 14 MEDM, 2 MELE, and 1 MEBA. About a third of this Arda deck is rares, so if you wan...

Re: New Video Tutorial for MECCG (Starter Rules)
Neat stuff. Video 1: I suggest adding "Starter Rules" to the title. It should be there already. I'm surprised that doesn't show up for you. Do you have two mics? The voice balance kept shifting around. It should be pretty easy to collapse to a single track. That's probably from me turning...

New Video Tutorial for MECCG (Starter Rules)
There seems to be a shortage of good video tutorials for learning MECCG, so here's my attempt at one. It's a four-part video series that should cover all the basic elements of the starter game. If anyone has any input or can correct any of the things I say or do in the videos, I'd appreciate hearing...

Re: Source of this Dream Card map?
Bumping this in case fresh eyes can offer fresh insights. Does anyone know who created these maps? Were they ever actually used, or were they simply theoretical worlds for hypothesized Dream Card sets? There's a pretty good list of the intended DC sets here , so I'm curious how deep the conceptualiz...

Re: Promo cards and misprints
Speaking of misprints: There was supposed to be a rune on the MELE cards, but due to errors in the card-film production process, it was left off. We would have like to have fixed it, but the delay would have been several weeks, since we would have lost the printing window. Bob Mohney Iron Crown Ent...

Any word on how this fared at Lure? I like solo scenarios and have plenty of solo decks, and I wouldn't mind adding this one to their number once it's been refined.

Re: Casual player - keep or trade AtS R1s?
If you're not going to use them, sell them. They're valuable because they're rare, but I don't think any of them are particularly useful in constructed play. Also, Agburanar Roused and Scorba Roused are both from The Lidless Eye and are worth far less than Bairanax, Daelomin, Earcaraxe, Itangast, an...

Re: MECCG items for sale
Imagine if this was still in shrink wrap, doubt there are many if any like that left? Looks like one of those sets has been opened, but still really impressive. That's sort of the best of both worlds, in my book. You still have the sealed product and you still have the packaging (which looks quite ...
