Re: Nobody's Friend/Inner Cunning
This was actually covered back in the day by the Net Rep team. In reply to a question about using Inner Cunning against a Minion player, Rules Digest nb. 557 indicated that If you are playing against a minion, you cannot use Inner Cunning because it targets an agent. If you want to use Inner Cunning...

Re: Defeating an attack from a Dragon faction
Konrad, thanks for pointing that out. I had not thoroughly checked the section of the rule book outlining interactions between an METW and an MELE player.

Re: Defeating an attack from a Dragon faction
All right, sounds logical to me. Pending an official ruling from the NetRep team, I'll go with this should the situation arise. Thanks.

Re: Defeating an attack from a Dragon faction
Okay, so what happens if you do defeat this attack? Do you get faction marshalling points or kill marshalling points? Or are you saying only heroes would get the kill marshalling points?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Defeating an attack from a Dragon faction
Konrad, I got these off of the old rec.games.trading-cards.misc group. I created a file with all the digests I could find. The questions were answered by the official MECCG NetRep (Craig O'brien, then Van Norton after him).

Re: Orc faction - overt?
No, according to the rules, it isn't. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a ruling on this.

Defeating an attack from a Dragon faction
Hello, As stated on Dragon faction cards, Dragon factions are Dragon manifestations. The Lidless Eye rules say that If an attack from a Dragon faction is defeated, remove the Dragon from play. No player receives its marshalling points. The CRF indicates that If you defeat the attack from a Dragon ma...

Orc faction - overt?
Hello to all, I was wondering if a covert company that successfully influences an Orc faction becomes an overt company. My guess would be no, it doesn't, since the Lidless Eye rules state that Any company that contains a Ringwraith in Fell Rider mode, an Orc, or a Troll is an overt company. and also...

Re: Foes Shall Fall - Making a Dragon playable
Thanks for the comprehensive analysis, Konrad. I hadn't considered the timing issue with regard to "at the beginning of the movement/hazard phase".
And thanks for pointing out the possibility of Dragon's Desolation having an effect on a different company travelling to the same site.

Foes Shall Fall - Making a Dragon playable

If the strike is defeated, discard this card. If the strike is not defeated, place creature's card with Foes Shall Fall-creature is co...

Re: Face out of Sight - when on-guard cards are returned?
This was answered in Rulings Digest #77: How exactly does Face out of Sight work? Just looking at the text, it seems that the on-guard part should cause an effect when Face out of Sight resolves, but since it is a Long-event there will never be any on-guard cards in play when you resolve Face out of...
