Re: FS (order) - Custom Avatar-specific Dice

That's a really cool idea! Which company are you ordering them from? It may be worth doing a separate order for the Bay Area if some of the other players around here have an interest in custom dice.

Yellow Lidless Eye Dice?

Does anyone have a pair of the yellow/gold MECCG dice, like those in this picture, that they would be willing to trade (preferably) or sell? Please PM me if so.

Re: Arda Minion

Nice work -- the rules look really great to me! Though I feel that perhaps, for Minion Arda, the treasure hand ought to be called the swag hand. :)

Re: Selling off my collection: The Balrog box set 1 and 2

I could very well be wrong, but unless the seller is in a real hurry, it's worth it to highball eBay prices for buy it now. They can always be dropped if the item doesn't sell in a few weeks.

Re: Selling off my collection: The Balrog box set 1 and 2

Those are eBay prices, remember, not necessarily what you'd expect to pay if you worked directly with a seller on a site like this one. There's a premium for the convenience and of course for the fees that eBay charges, so the prices can be quite a bit higher. I'm also not suggesting that I think th...

Re: Selling off my collection: The Balrog box set 1 and 2

I'd go with CDavis7M's idea and make it a shareable google doc, that way anyone interested here on the forums could take a look and weigh in. It might be more valuable to the community that way, as well.

Re: Selling off my collection: The Balrog box set 1 and 2

Well, many MELE rares (and to a lesser extent AtS rares) may sell in the $8-$12 range. Not all, though, and the list is too long to quickly reproduce it here. Some notable higher-value MELE ones are Chill Them with Fear, Elf-lord Revealed in Wrath, Heedless Revelry, Hoarmurath Unleashed, and Uruk-li...

Re: Selling off my collection: The Balrog box set 1 and 2

For what it's worth (and I pay a fair amount of attention to Ebay MECCG prices over time), I'd put the Ebay values for what you're listing somewhere around: Balrog Boxes: $500-$600 The One Ring (MELE): $40-$50 The Lidless Eye (MELE): $45-$55 We Have Come to Kill: $40 It is possible to get all of the...

Re: Middle-earth: The Necromancer

Actually, the question I have is not when the next set will happen, but which set will be under development next? Is there a planned progression of finalizing and printing the DC sets? To clarify, this is in no way Cracking the Whip at the DC team to get right back to work -- I think we can all agre...

Re: MECCG items for sale

The seller is also selling a bundle of ALL the MECCG guide books plus maps, including "A Long Expected Party." At US$250 it's an amazing deal.

Re: Promo cards and misprints

A quick search of Ebay revealed that the English Limited edition (black border) Daelomin is indeed rotated 90 degrees from "upright". However, the English Unlimited edition (blue border) copies of Daelomin appear to have the proper upright orientation, i.e. ICE corrected the mistake for th...

Re: Middle-earth: The Necromancer

My cards arrived in the mail yesterday, and I have to say that the DC team really outdid themselves this time! It's a beautiful set, and I am especially impressed by the player guide, which is incredibly detailed in game advice and lore. Amazing job, and thank you all!

Re: Middle-earth: The Necromancer

I recall from First Folk printing that many times the cards were not shrink-wrapped in precise order -- so there would be 2 copies of a card next to each other, for example, and the third would be somewhere else in the stack. Perhaps that's what's happened? Also, got my notification from DHL today -...

Re: Univeral Rules Document

It will incorporate past relevant Rulebooks, CRF, ICE Digests, and NetRep Digests. It is meant to be a “one stop shop” for MECCG rules which I think would be a wonderful thing for the MECCG community. Amen to that! Thank you for all of your and the rest of the team's efforts to pull this together -...

Re: How do hazard creatures which create persistent effects work?

The ruling seems to only apply to "resource permanent-events". Why be so specific if it was meant to apply more broadly? I don't think this applies to resource short-events (e.g. Secret Entrance), let alone hazard effects like Chill Douser or Uruk-lieutenant.
