a. Rules Committee – Ethan (organizer), Bruno, Felipe, Miguel
Due to extenuating life circumstances, Ethan would like to withdraw from Organized Play and Web-based Initiatives committees to focus exclusively on Rules Committee. We had a brief discussion about philosophies of how to approach rules questions, and acknowledging that there needs to be a balance of different needs and approaches. Felipe has compiled an extended list of pending community questions, Bruno has provided a potential order to tackle them, and we are ready to get cranking!
- TASK: Start digging into new digests!
- TASK: Continue discussing whether certain cards/alignments are overpowered in the current tournament environment.
b. Organized Play Committee – Marc (organizer), Ralph, Miguel
We have a full slate of tournaments right now! Committee discussed mulligans extensively and we’re testing a new mulligan rule on the current Istari Challenge. Committee is currently not worried about spectating for general tournaments, but is currently leaning toward no spectating for Online Worlds.
- PREVIOUS TASK: Discuss pros/cons of spectating being allowed for Online Worlds and report back to Council. – DONE!
- TASK: If necessary (pending current Istari Challenge), develop potential mulligan poll with more background information, pros/cons, etc., and send back to Council to review.
- TASK: If necessary, develop potential round time poll with more background information, more objective language, pros/cons, etc., and send back to Council to review.
c. Public Relations Committee – Alvaro (organizer), Felipe
Alvaro and Felipe are moderators of Discord now.
- PREVIOUS TASK: Discuss helping each other with admin rights. – DONE!

Prize package was sent to organizer for in-person Worlds. Committee may need to reach out to volunteers for help with regular teaching times for new players. We also talked about the global player map and difficulties with getting it updated with contact information or having to start fresh.
- TASK: Continue discussing ways to make hard-to-find physical cards more accessible for new players.
- TASK: Continue discussing global outreach efforts.
- TASK: Marc will reach out to volunteers about regular teaching times for new players.
- TASK: Discuss updating or revamping the global player base map.
e. Web-Based Initiatives – Bruno (organizer), Alvaro
Bruno has started translating play.meccg.com into Italian!
- TASK: Continue discussing how to create translated versions of as many web-based resources as possible.
