kodi wrote: Thu Jun 01, 2023 9:59 am The point is that the old theme was the phpBB default theme. It had the original phpBB logo in the header!
New theme has in header a logo identical to logo of https://meccg.com/. This may be confusing for those who have open tabs for both sites in their browsers.
Agreed, would be better if they had separate logo.

I was referring to the header of the page, not the tab. But you are right! :D

I have changed to blue. If someone has a better idea, he can send me a PM with the image and I can check if it could be usable.

Thanks

There was discussion of an icon contest maybe ~5 years ago. I don't think it ever happened.

I've been quite happy with the forum as it was for years, but I also welcome the attempt to give it a new and better look. And it does look good! :) Well done, thank you!

  • We are reorganizing the information to keep it up-to-date and relevant.
Could this thread be moved into a main channel? As far as I know it is still up-to-date and relevant; no other place on CoE has the Balrog/CD reprint wording.

Will an administrator be able to see who thanked?
We will not speak of such things even in the morning of the Shire.

Thanks again to @tyhjaarpa for the idea :)

And one thing has been changed by occasion.
Statistics of Thanks/Likes are not collected.

I think that it is a good change. This is not a forum where members/employers provide a technical support to other members. And a building of "most helpful/most thanked" rank does not match the purpose of this forum (still, could be tempting for those who are seeking for senses that do not/should not exist here).

Wow, I hadn’t logged in for a couple of months and came today. At first I thought, weird, what is going on?
Congratulations! It looks very pleasant.

Links in some posts like e.g. in post viewtopic.php?f=103&t=3541 point to URL like http://councilofelrond.org/forum/viewto ... 103&t=3452 .

Target exists but is accessible by viewtopic.php?f=144&t=3357.
