Hi everyone.

I've never been a big player for lack of players, so I've mostly collected.
I've collected MEtW for a long time now and have many cards left.
Before selling my extras on eBay, I'd like to build some decks to play with.
However, my limitations are as follows :
- I mostly have Commons and Uncos left from the the first series (black borders), and a few from the two expansions, Dark Minions and Dragons.
- I'd like to build some playing decks using mostly these leftovers.
- I also have a few rares left, but not many, and would like to use as few as possible to avoid having to chase down or trade for the missing ones.
(if we could avoid decks with the One Ring, the Nazguls, promos, and other hard to find cards)

I can list the few rares I have to eventually trade for ones that would be missing in a deck.
Whatever works.

I'd like to be able to enjoy the game a little instead of just staring at my collection...
And I'd hate to have to sell my leftovers without having a deck or two to play with.

So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd be thankfull.

Thanks.

Hazards:

3x Lure of Natur
3x Lure of Senses
3x Lure of Expedience
2x Despair of the Heart
2x Greed
2x Weariness of the Heart

Playing Tips:

Create two Companies and move in First Turn with Short Rest to Mount Gram and with Master of Esgaroth to Cameth Brin and afterwards if you draw MP Ressources to the right site. So you draw >10 cards in one turn. Use also the ability of Radagast. The prime object is to draw cards and recycle Short Rest with Smoke Rings.

Create your own Sideboard for example with Marvels Told, A Friend or Three, Twillight and other cards to optimize your Hazard- and Ressource Strategy.

MP:

Characters ~ 9 MP
Items ~ 10-12 MP
Factions ~ 8-11 MP
Allies ~ 2-4 MP
~ 30-36 MP

or you could do a northeast deck something like this:

Starting company:
Glorfindel + elf stone
Beorn + horn of anor (or cram)
Annalenna
Anborn

Characters:
Radagast x2
Alatar
Brand
Legolas
Haldalam
Gimli

Deck:
smoke rings x3
not at home x3
concealment x3
marvels told x3
forewarned is forearmed x2
risky blow x3

men of dorwinion
iron hill dwarves
woodelves
noble hound x3
gollum

thror's map
orcrist
scroll of isildur
durin's axe
enruned shield
torque of hues

Important sideboard cards:
Men of northern rovanion
Men of laketown
Wood-men
Wizard's staff
A chance meeting x2
extra cancellers (such as sated beast, vanishment, dark quarrels or flatter a foe)

Hazards:
cave drake x3
Bert
Tom
William
Ambusher x3
Corsairs of Umbar x3
Lure of nature x3
Lure of expedience x3
Lure of senses x3
An unexpected outpost x3
Despair of the Heart x2
Greed x2
Weariness of the Heart x2

important sideboard cards:
Lost in free domain
Dragon-sickness

Play tips:
Stick to near dragon country, play all the stuff there, use thror's map to play multiple items at one dragon lair, always try to keep a canceller for the big dragons. Once wizard enters play bring the Staff from sideboard and use his DI to either control more characters or influence sideboard factions (or both). Radagast should also help with card drawing as in Bernd's deck.
Same as in Bernd's deck, hazards are made of corruption stuff since it is the easiest thing to build without rares but i prefer to add 3 unexpected outpost to recicle whatever you might need.

MP
Characters ~ 6-10 MP
Items ~ 15-20 MP
Factions ~ 10-16 MP
Allies ~ 5 MP
36-51 ~ MP
