Date for German Nats 2010

Post by Vastor Peredhil » Mon Sep 13, 2010 8:49 am

Hi German players, hi the rest

3 dates for German Nats are discussed here:

http://www.lureofmeccg.org/forum/viewto ... =13&t=1258

as it will be held in Krefeld NRW (western Germany) it might be cool if we had some Dutch/French/Belgium players there as well

please make sure to give, remarks and all

I want to know when most German players can make it so that I can plan for a location

yours Nicolai

p.s. of course a huge DC /VC / Arda sideevents will be held, and many introduction games for newbies

@zirilian maybe you could work out a poster for it;) ?

HI Nico,

understand I right, Nats will held in Krefeld ? Comments in German forum are a bit confusing concerning that!?

As I said 8-9 of Oct. would be best for me, the weekend 16-17 would be still possible at the moment with some problems. But I need to know soon in any case!

I wonder that any of the dates will be realized if there will be not a decision immediately. The later the people know the final date the less players will come, that is 100 % sure believe me (girl friends always want to know for their week end plans, weekend travel plans in gerneral, austrian guys need flights,...)!!!

If I where you I would just fix the date by your own latest end of this week (people had more than enough time to give there comments!). How organizes the Nats could decide about the date by his own in my eyes. Of course asking about the best date is always fine, but you did that, so no problem :-)

Cheers from Mauritius and hopefully see you soon in Krefeld

First you need a location then you can fix a weekend.

So long

15.00 Erste Runde beginnt a 75 min, zusammenräumen kurze Pause usw. also alle 90 min eine Runde

16.30-18.00: 2te Runde:

18.00-19.30 3te Runde:

http://www.cityhotel-krefeld.de/

Alfa Appartementhaus
Schwertstraße 119, 47799 Krefeld
02151/610145 ‎

Etap Hotel Duesseldorf Messe Krefeld
Hansastrasse 28-30, 47799 Krefeld
02151/62896 ext. 20 – 02151/628962 (Fax) ‎

Wieviel Leute kommen denn? :-)).

Bis morgen

Hallo all,

sadly only 7 players found their way to Krefeld, 1 dutch included.

We played 4 rounds, so 3 byes were handed out (last round we had only 6 players remaining)

So winner of the Main-events on saturday was that dutch guy ;) Eric Dane with 18 TP (hero dunk with dwarfs+ Unexpected party)

2nd) German Champion 2010 is Dominic Kempf (domse) 17 TP Fallen Radagast Free-hold squat

3rd) or better ONYL 3rd is dritter Heiner Viehfuss with 16 TP Balrog

4th) Karsten Gerland 14 TP Hero dunk mit Lucky Search (he missed 4 rolls for the One at Mount doom in the last round vs domse giving away his tourney win)

5th) Mario Nau-Theisen 10TP? (not sure must find his sheat again) also Balrog

6th) Nicolai Willinek 6TP Fallen-Gandalf dragoncountry fun deck (80+ cards)

7th Peter Duda 5 TP Fallen Saruman

bald kommt mehr

Hi Nico,

my name is Heiner Viefhues and not Heiner Viehfuss !!!! , it means "fifth house in the street" and not "animal/cow feet" ;-).

Thank you for organising the event, Nico, sorry I forgot paying my 3 kölsch beers, will spend you some at next LURE ;-).

I feel a bit pitty for Karsten who managed to dunk me in round 1, minimising my chances for the title from the beginning :( (with a bit of luck paired with not too good hazard play by me) but failed 4 dunk attempts needing an 8 in the last round against domse, what would given him tournament victory and the german master title. Would not say that I am happy with 3rd place but after a 0-7 in round 1 it was hard to end better.
But shit happens quiet often as everybody knows ;-).

So, many congrats to Eric winning the tournament and to DOMSE becoming new german champion.

Cheers
Heiner

Hey Niko and the others!

Its not only Heiners name (I always wondered what the hack Viefhues means, now we know), but also some minor mistakes in the TP:

Eric had 20 TP (7+7+4+2) and I had 18 (4+6+2+6).

I will later write a report, but need to get something to eat first...

Best,
Dominic

It was my first GO in about 6 years -not counting the GM 2 years ago when I played last minute with Mario's deck to complete an uneven number - and I must say, it was actually enjoyable, I only got triple Rivered in a turn once , and Heiner screwed up his cardflow to save those for the trip to Mount Doom. Actually the tactical battle with Heiner's buffed scary Trolls was fun, him hanging around Mordor, me trying to avoid CvCC. And of course Wolfgang dice make everything better, Karsten I would advise you to use your pair when testing for The One :D , but you deserved the win on style points.

Arda game was also very enjoyable, even with the mind being a bit hazed by a couple of flaming acoholic beverages.
Pity we didn't get to finish the first Overall Meccg Championships on Sunday (GO, Arda and DC GO).

my thanks to Nico for being an excellent host
and to Heiner for donating a cool Trophy

cheers
Eric
