European Championship in Munich
Posted: Sat Mar 08, 2014 6:51 am
There were rumours around at Lure that I am organizing Euros in Munich this year. Still willing to but does anybody has interest to come?
The 3rd of October as suggested at Lure doesent work, though. The Oktoberfest will actually be partially in October this year, so it would get hard and expensive to find sleeping places. My other suggestion would be 17th - 19th October. Or two weeks after that 31st Oct - 2nd Nov.
What do you think?
EDIT:
Hello everybody!
Rumors have become true!
The MECCG European Championship will be held in Munich from 17th to 19th October.
With the common Suisse Tournament rules (prelimanries on Saturday, Final four on Sunday) we will determine who takes the crown of Europe.
The fee will be 10 Euros for both days.
The tournament is limited to 30 players, so quickly register by sending me an Email to styro(a)web.de or via PM in this forum. Also do so if you have any questions about travelling, accomodation etc.
Here is a suggested hostel:

If anyone is willing to host side games like ARDA or Dream Cards especially on sunday please contact me it would be appreciated.
There will be food and drinks in the location at good prices. The owner is an excellent cook by the way and if youre looking for tasty wines youre in the right place. For tasty beer youre in Munich in the right place anyway...
