VI Polish MECCG Nationals- REPORT

We had out 6th Nationals recently - as most of you probably know as I've tried to advertise them as much as I could. Unfortunately no foreigners came - you loss our gain
Just kidding of course I understand it's difficult to travel to another country for a Tournament especially with such annual (and for some obligatory) events as Worlds or LURE, most importantly I've learned that we need to let people know about our events more then 1 month ahead as that would make plane tickets reservations a lot cheaper...
Anyway - what happened during the event was essentially everything that was planned. Most people came to Pabianice on Friday afternoon, there weren't any prepared side-events so everyone just did whatever they wanted, some just talked, some played MECCG and some played various board games. We had a grill-supper and we went to sleep. Ohh, and some people used the evening (and night) to build their decks for the main event (I think someone finished building his deck around 5 am
)
Saturday was the big Tournament day - we played 5 rounds, starting around 10 am and finishing around 5 pm. After all games ended, Tournament Points were counted and Tie Breakers resolved came time for prizes. Special prizes were for the 1st, 2nd 3rd and last place but all participated in card draft (we had MEDM and MEWH boosters)
Afterwards those still hungry for more MECCG played some more and others played board games (there was a 6 player Runebound game going that started at 6 pm and finished around 5 am on Sunday
)
Sunday was all about farewells as some had trains to catch as early as around 6 am...
All in all it was a great event and all of you that weren't there sure missed loads of fun
