I've had to do a bunch of overtime at work, so not many of my Virtual Decks are tested . . . I should be easy meat. :)

joebisz(a)verizon.net

If any other player is willing to play, but doesn't have time (or doesn't want) to make a deck, you can e-mail or PM Jambo, Joe or me, and we can provide some decklists from our owns!

hope we can get 1 more player so we are an even number of participants

best!

1 more player for our little event and we are ready to go!!! :)

Bernd Brunner (Beornd196)
b.brunner(a)inode.at

we will start right now, but this 1º round, as an exception, can be played during 2 weeks because bernd asked me some time for build his decks. After the first round, the matches will have to be played during 1 week. And report the results to me via email or PM. Genral rules for deckbuilding can be found here:

http://www.councilofelrond.org/forum/vi ... .php?t=128

To all players (very important):
Please take notes about the games you are going to play, those will be very handy for joe's next Newsletter edition and for VC dev team's playtesting! Please report those notes to Joe after the tourney ends

so the participants are:

marcos
bernd
AgusBalin
VastorPeredhil
b_took
Ringbearer
Jambo
Frodo

1º Round (to be played between march 17th to march 31st):

marcos 6 - VastorPeredhil 0
Frodo 6 - b_took 0
Ringbearer 2 - AgusBalin 4
Bernd 6 - Jambo 0

Scouting is only allowed if both players agree that they don't mind that other participants take a look at their decks

good luck all!!!

what do you think about let people modify their decks between rounds?

i guess that most people wants to test lots of posibilities and different decks...

I think this is a great idea, particularly as this is a prelude for Worlds. It will probably mean the tournament can't be ranked (need to check with wigy of course). This in itself doesn't bother me in the slightest, since I don't care for that stuff, but it may bother some?

Sounds cool to me to let people switch decks, especially as we can't really keep track of that anyway.

OH... I didn't realize we had so many weeks for the tournament! I thought we were playing all rounds within one week.

We'll have to remind people to re-update the new cards.

Vastor and I played the first game of the tourney! final score 27 - 12 for me. The game itself sucked... very bad draws and ever worse rolls. I drew my RW at final 15 cards in deck and Vastor had the bad luck of losing his main character on first turn...
I missed 2 factions by rolling 2 and 3 and Vastor couldn't get any ally, hope you guys have better testing experiences :P
