Thror's Map

Minor Iteam

You can play Unexpected Party instead of a second Minor iteam.

A Dwarf my tap Thror's Map to reduce the prowles of a dragon attack by 1.

CP:1

Good suggestion, there are other dreamcards around that let you start with unexpected party (or recycle it), but Thror's map seems actually a thematically very logical choice indeed.
Why not tap a dwarf to reduce the number of strikes of an at home manifestation? rather than general dragon creature attack. It is about finding the entrance to the lair, after all. That would be quite good, but otherwise you're just hauling around the map for nothing all the time. Also, the normal item is quite good too, you should get something in return for not playing that one.

Yeah you are right the reducing of the strike is perfect....!!!!
I also thought about the thematic thing with the secret entrance but i couldn't come up with a good enough idear...

I just feared to make it to good to start with unexpected party...

but I think that would be perfect... I now love this card!

Thror's Map

Minor Iteam
You can start the game with Unexpected Party
in leau of a Minor iteam.
A dwarf scout can Tap Thror's Map to reduce the strikes of an dragon
at home manifestion by -1 (to a minimum of 1).

Very good!
The only doubt is if it can be too strong starting with An Unexpected Party, but I like it: it's thematical, logical and original and Thorsten suggestion fits perfect! 8)

My guess is this card is too strong.

Starting with Unexpected Party is much stronger than a minor item. It removes the uncertainty of when you're going to get the card thereby making it less likely all the dwarves will clog your hand, plus one shouldn't forget that it allows extra deck space from the 2 other Unexpected Party cards you now no longer need...

Unexpected Party Dwarf decks are already very good. I see this as imbalancing the one thing that keeps them balanced - when you get Unexpected Party on the table.

As Jambo says I see absolutely no need for a Thrors Map V, especially not too boost Unexpected Party.

I also have the doubt that can be too strong, but I like the idea of -1 strike to a Dragon At Home manifestation.
maybe it can be used in an other virtualization or for a dream card

thror's map is unique, so it cannot be played as a starting item unless the card says so, you should add:

"it can be included in starting company"
