In the name of Mordor V: permanent-event
Playable on a diplomat in a covert company if you are Sauron. Choose a hero character opponent has in play with a normal mind of 6 or more and a non-darkhaven home site. Each time you enter hero character's home site (your choice), rotate this card once. This card has the following effects (cumulative) on hero character according to the number of rotations: Once: he must make a roll during untap phase: if lower than 6 he does not untap. Twice: he costs 2 more points of influence to control. Thrice: he returns to his home site immediately, discard any allies he controls. When at his home site, hero character may tap once per turn to rotate this card backwards one time. Smoke on the Wind and Burning Rick, Cot and Tree may not be played on his homesite(s). This card is worth 1 MP for each time rotated. Cannot be duplicated on a given diplomat.
This is a little mission for covert diplomats, that reflects the emissary of Sauron knocking on the door, obviously. With each time he comes back, the hero leader grows more anxious and in doubt. He is more difficult to control (will he give in to Sauron?), he is preoccupied and worried (tapped), and he must reassure his people else they will align themselves with Sauron (go back home). Of course, object is to draw back opponent to this site in order to prevent the diplomat from arriving, before step 3. Then when character comes home to save his people, you can have all sorts of surprises ready (malady?)
I'm not too sure on third effect, it is pretty harsh, please offer other suggestions!
Could also add: wizard may tap to rotate backwards up to 3 times. But card is already cramped.
