21 April, 2006: Calendar initiative passed; CoE declares intention to maintain a calendar of all national and international tournaments, as well as any local tournaments that get reported to us.
21 April, 2006: Steffen Lutter to join Mark Alfano and Josh Hunholz as a webmaster of this site. The site renewal should contain visible links to all the rules, cards, ruling resources already existing on the web, particularly on meccg.net. The site should be hosted at www.councilofelrond.org.

Sept 21, 2005: 1*) There shall be 12 non-sliding prequalified slots for Worlds:
4 slots for the top four finalists of the previous year's Worlds
4 slots for the organizers of the previous year's Worlds
2 slots for the top two finalists of the previous year's European Championships
2 slots for the organizers of the previous year's European championships
(2*) There shall also be sliding prequalified slots for Worlds:
4 slots for the United States
2 slots for Germany
2 slots for the Netherlands
2 slots for Spain
1 slot for each other country with an active national council
1 extra slot for the host country
4 slots for the top four finalists of the previous year's Worlds
4 slots for the organizers of the previous year's Worlds
2 slots for the top two finalists of the previous year's European Championships
2 slots for the organizers of the previous year's European championships
(2*) There shall also be sliding prequalified slots for Worlds:

4 December 2006:
(1) In order to realize some promotional projects of the COE such as advertising stuff and prize support, some budget is needed.
While it is fine to receive some donations, the COE will also charge a fee for taking part in COE approved tournaments/events.
The following events will be COE approved:
- World and European Championships
- National Championships of recognized Councils (given the organizer agrees)
- special events like Lure of MECCG, Nordic Cup, ... (given the organizer agrees)
The charged fee is 1$ or 1€ per participant of such an event.
(2) Chris Cable nominated as treasurer of CoE tournament fund.
