Council of Elrond

I propose to change the system of slots for worlds as it stands now.

Compared to active player-base I would say to remove 1 slots from USA, and hand one to Poland.

The reason for this is that USA doesnt have the large playerbase anymore, and Poland shows for a few years quite some base that deserves a 2nd slot.

Also I want to hold a yearly post, a sticky, to show who have won slot for upcoming worlds. Every Council id responsible for posting the results, so the organiser of Worlds doesnt have to seek out old reports as much as I do.

Where can I get a list of countries with active national councils and how many slots they currently get.

I would not be opposed to this as the US seems to have shrinking numbers.

But I'd like to get something to go off of, like how many participants each country had at their nats over the last couple of years, or appearences in previous large tournaments (worlds, euro championships, etc).

I have a feeling Spain will be entitled to more than 2 slots.

This is something we should look deeper into.
