I would like to propose that the winner of the gccg world championships gets a slot into Worlds.

Speaking as the rep for the Council of Lorien, I think that's a great idea. I really think Gccg is the future of the game, as much as I still love playing face to face. So it only makes sense to recognize it like this.

I agree as well. The level at the tournament is usually so high, its almost as strong as a normal worlds. Anyone who wins should be entered in Worlds.

what about people who cant afford a trip to worlds winning GCCG champ?

They can hand down the bye to number 2, organise worlds themselves or read the reports later on.

Not every slot given to a player will be used at worlds, because not everyone can make it. Do you think every qualified player will make it to worlds next year?

I know the US has 4 slots currently, but we don't ever send 4 players unless it's hosted in the US.
