Some policy suggestions

I suggest we use the following policy:

(1) Each thread should contain only one topic.
(2) If someone makes a motion in a thread, we will change the title to reflect that by adding the tag [motion] and stickying the thread.
(3) If someone seconds a motion in a thread, we will change the title to reflect that by adding the tag [motion, seconded], and adding a poll with three options to the motion: yes, no, abstain.
(4) If a motion is passed, we will lock its thread.

(5, etc.) your thoughts here!

Maybe it could be worth not to lock the thread, allowing some comments on how the passed motion is working. Or should we open another thread for this?

We could give everyone the ability to lock/unlock threads, that way we can lock it to show it is finished and it can be re-openned if needed later.

Exactly as Josh said :D (This is the policy we use on the NetRep board, more or less, and it works quite nicely)
