They have finished the website!

Now we need to get info into the global players list archive there... only 3 entries so far, which is quite sad.

absolutely great job done. looks awesome! i like it ...

now i have some 100 players to add to the list. that´s not that many as i had hoped for, but i think when all the other see this list acutally on the site, many will follow.
now tell me what to do next: who is able to implement "my" players?

i think sergio also has quite a few to add. is that right, sergio??

and most important: i got also the emailaddresses of the layers. of course we cannot simply put them online. is there a way to log in to the homepage, where you can also have a look at these emailaddresses then?

The website is up and running, so you should be able to add players now, Wolfgang.

The registrations are independent atm. Not sure exactly how we're going to work that out, in fact. For now it's not really a big deal.

I'm working on getting you access. I tried making you an admin myself, but it didn't seem to work.

Wolfgang, you are listed as an moderator and an admin. When you log in (using the same username as the forums, but your password is your last name until you change it), you should be able to add users.

National Representatives: can you tell your countrymen (on your national forum/website/whatever) that we are very sorry if we made any mistakes with people's names etc? I've heard from a couple of Spanish players that I made errors in entering their names. Also let them know that they can sign in (on the main page, not necessarily here on the forum, unless they registered here in addition) and change any wrong info?

Thanks!

recently mark and joe have sent out some messages to the METW community (with some stuff about Worlds). and there is also the MECCG newsletter and the Rulings Digests as well.
that made me think about who these messages received. as far as i could see it was personaly to those, who have registered for worlds, and it was also going to the white tower list.
thats only a small part of the worldwide MECCG community. and that means, that many players do not get to read the interesting stuff.
the global players list was meant to enable us to send out inforamtions to as many players as possible.
mark/joe, please correct me, if there was more.

but also i have still "my" lsits of players here, that is much bigger than the list on the COE homepage. many of them are just too lazy to care about getting registered at the global players list, as it seems.
it´s no problem to send out a message to them. but i would like to avoid to send the same message three times to one person (white tower list, global players list, my list).

so i have been thinking of how to improve the situation. once i (with timo and sergio) have volunteered to spread the word about the COE players list and try to have registered as many players as possible there. now i think it would be good to have ONE person to maintain this list (putting up new players), otherwise it will be difficult to keep an overview.
whenever there is something to send out to the community, i can do that (best using an alias address like metw-newsATcouncilofelrond.org).
since i plan to stick around here for another while, i wuod´ld like to do that.

any comments and suggestions are very welcome!!
