recently i found out that there have been some very strange settings of user permissions. for example, those with guest status had read-only access to the COE discussion board, while many of the council reps had not.
then, netrep mikko decided to make the netrep board invisible again to others (as it had been the case in the past).
so here is a short list of permissons in this forum:
- online community: all (= registered users have full access and guests have read-only access)
- events: all
- rules and rulings: all - except the netrep discussion forum: netrep team
- market place: all
- alternate game formats: all
- national councils: all
- COE discussion: COE members, council representatives
- technical stuff: all
btw: there is a pre-defined group called BOTS. whats the sense of having these BOTS on board???

I would say I don't mind having this board open for people to see; I feel transparency helps engender confidence and allows for a greater degree of input from the community.
The game is flawed, but this does not mean it cannot be loved.
I couldn't agree more.Bandobras Took wrote:I would say I don't mind having this board open for people to see; I feel transparency helps engender confidence and allows for a greater degree of input from the community.

Yep, CoE section should be/remain visible for all users.
I can understand Mikko's decision. I wonder if CoE members should not be added to the list though (not that I enjoy reading NetRep discussions)
