NOTE - This thread is from the 2018 Annual Rules Vote

Errata was successfully voted - https://councilofelrond.org/forum/viewt ... 103&t=3532

I am posting now because there was a lot of discussion on trophies but no one seemed to mention:
CRF Rulings by Term - Trophies wrote:Trophies in Fallen-wizard companies give prowess and influence bonuses based on the MPs printed on the card.
It seems clear from this that Fallen-wizard companies were already able to take trophies despite specific FW rules allowing them to do so. Meaning, it is assumed that FW Orcs and Trolls operated similar to minion Orcs and Trolls. This is just further justification that the decision made was correct, in case this gets revisited later.

So, by the same argument, ICE felt that FW Companies are minion companies.
MELE, Trophies wrote:TROPHIES
If one of your minion companies defeats a creature, you may place the creature's card under the control of any Orc or Troll character that faced a strike from the creature's attack. This card is called a "trophy" and is treated as a minor item with zero corruption points.
Since Orcs and Trolls could take trophies, they must have been in minion companies all this time.

Boy, are the rules are a mess.

The rules on leaders already applied to Fallen-wizards.

Question: Can an overt orc fallen-wizard company have more than one leader?

Answer: Not normally.
Just like rules the minion rules on trophies applied to FW.

The basis for the CRF entry on Trophies

Question: Speaking of trophies: An Orc in a Fallen-wizard-company, would he get +1DI *and* +1PR for having let's say an Assassin (2MP) as a trophy or only +1DI? That is, do you only look at the value printed on the card, although it is worth only 1M.P. (without other cards, of course)?

Answer: You only look at the value printed on the card.
This goes the other way also. The FW rules on half-orcs apply to minion players.

Question: Half-orcs... The FW (Fallen Wizard) rules state that in a company of only Men, Half-orcs do not push the company over into the Overt state. Is this rule apply to all MECCG now (i.e., Minion decks more specifically)?

Answer: Yes.
Presumably this is all covered in the White Hand Player Guide.

Having looked more into this, ICE has always ruled that "Orc and Troll characters in play by a Fallen-wizard player follow the rules for minion Orc/Troll characters, and companies containing an Orc or Troll follow the rules for minion companies."

The MELE rules apply to Fallen-wizards. But this also goes both ways. The MEWH rules apply to Ringwraith players.

Yes.
