INFORMATION
Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent: hazard permanent-event, 2 MP
Playable on a stored item. Return item to opponent's hand (discard all attached cards). Place this card in opponent's marshalling point pile.
It was asked in the past what kind of MP's Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent gives. This was the NetRep's ruling:
From the [NetRep] Rulings Digest #110 :
(19) The following questions have arisen: What kind of MPs do Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent, Returned Beyond All Hope, and Will Shaken give?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Neither So Ancient nor so Potent gives Kill MPs (I know, it's weird, but that's the way the rules work).
Returned Beyond All Hope gives Kill MPs.
Will Shaken gives (negative) Misc. MPs.
The question is whether this is deemed thematically correct, and/or if Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent should give an other type of MP's.
Should it give Miscellaneous MP's, or rather Item MP's?

Since it is possible for a voter to be against a possible change of the MP type Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent gives, but still wanting to have an influence should this change occur, this ballot item will be split into two questions: Ballot Item #35 A, and Ballot Item #35 B. Please vote on both ballot items, regardless of your choice on this item!

BALLOT ITEM # 35 A:
Are you in favor of nullifying the following part of NetRep's Digest #110 ?

NEITHER SO ANCIENT NOR SO POTENT
Overrule This:
Neither So Ancient nor so Potent gives Kill MPs.

CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR VOTE:
If you vote YES, then the NetRep's #110 clarification will be overruled, and Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent will no longer give Kill MP's, but another type of MP's, to be determined by Ballot Item #35 B.

If you vote NO, then the NetRep's clarification stands and Neither so Ancient Nor so Potent gives Kill MP's.

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:
- This is a "Status Quo" ballot item. The status quo is represented by a NO vote.
- Currently hazard cards only give Kill MP's; all the hazard cards have the same octagonal shape in the upper left corner.
- The case of Will Shaken shows other types of hazard MP's can exist, however it must be mentioned then explicitly on the card.
